PNŢCD moral leader, Ion Diaconescu, says the Romanian political men used to break the democracy rules during the inter-war era, too, but now the savage capital accumulation suppressed the principles.
Continuing the line Maniu-Mihalache-Coposu, 91-year-old Ion Diaconescu looks in a disappointing fashion upon the conflict that upsets PNŢCD party. He finds the majority of the Romanian politicians gave up the principle that made them spend 17 years imprisoned.
The thirst of acquiring property, by means that are more or less licit, is another problem that Ion Diaconescu noticed at the level of those that have decisional attributions. PNŢCD former leader said, at “La masa Adevărului”, the positive side is the fact that everyone understood, after almost 20 years, who really has the power: the elector. Ion Diaconescu showed that the same period of time was needed in the inter-war era for getting used to the autochthonous democracy.
