The Computer Bytes The Dust!

Dad yelled for Mom’s help. When she and I rushed in, we saw the blue screen of death staring at us from his laptop. Mom tried her magic tricks to no avail. The next day we took it to school to attempt to reimage it. Then we found out that the hard drive was going bad and it would have to be sent off for repairs. Mom and Dad were sad. They lost megabytes of data. Megabytes- hmmm-the sound of that gets me salivating!

Hey, Mom, I am still waiting for my “byte”!

Hoppy Easter from a Goofie Newfie

It’s Easter! We celebrate this day with joy! There is family celebration, church, and Easter Egg hunting! The bunny came and left his basket. He hid eggs and we hunted for them. Look what my friend found!

He had great fun! So did we! And from our home to yours~

When Easter Eggs Hatch!

Mom has been telling me all about the Easter bunny and how it differs from the bunnies I see daily in our pasture. Evidently this bunny brings special baskets.

And it hides Easter eggs outside for people to seek.

Mom told me there are bright tye dyed ones to find!

If my Easter eggs hatch, what will they look like? I imagined this…

Not A Victim!

As most of you know, I was an adopted dog. Mom “choosed” me above all other dogs. Most shelter dogs are not so lucky. They are victims of circumstances- lost, abandoned, starving for love and affection, and even dying in the shelter. Part of me surviving was my personality and a part was mom searching for me!
Mom is just like me! She refuses to be a victim of circumstances. Recently she dealt with a conniving thief. Though it may appear that the thief has gotten away with her plans and boasts about it, the whole truth has yet to come out. Mom is patient and knows that good comes to those who wait. She and I have a history of winning. And it is the battle, not the war that ultimately counts! We are not victims but victors!

Therapy Pupdate

I am so excited! We love Noe Middle School and they love us! We are back to our regular schedule with our students from last semester and their new, amazing teacher, Ms. Singleton, who is doing an outstanding job in Language Arts with them! Our students are so funny. They want a smartboard and are accustomed to technology! We had a conversation like this one day!

Sometimes I even try to help with editing. But there are some things even I cannot digest!

Our kids work very hard though and with dedication are making significant gains! We are impressed with our Titans!!
Mom and I also added a teacher and her students to our routine. We will be visiting Ms. Atkin’s Champions. She works magic with her students and we can’t wait to get to “Noe” them better. It looks like we will work with them during math and a special review time. We are very excited since Math is our favorite subject! For once we want Spring Break to be over! And that is our therapy dog Pupdate!

The Morning Paper

In our home, we “fetch” the morning
newspaper together. Mom usually gets a latte to accompany it. Then she plops in a very comfy chair to enjoy a thorough reading of the news of the day. Does that happen? Not always! Sometimes I believe that Mom needs a bit of Bella!

I always know when she needs a good cuddle!

How To Cope With Human Problems

Humans have to solve problems some how. They call it “coping.” Mom has been dealing with a thief, who befriended her and then stole her work, an award, and finally an expensive electronic item from a grant. Mom
has two great coping strategies for this: me and Dash. There are research studies that demonstrate that animal therapy reduce blood pressure and stress. Who needs to pay therapists when you have unconditional listening and love? LoL!

The Best Things in Life!

Some people claim the best things in life are expensive cars or small glittery diamond rings. Others go on extreme shopping binges and end up with gorgeous and glittery items like these:

Mom and I declare that:

Life Lessons

When Mom rescued me, she thought that she was doing all the teaching and none of the learning! Was she wrong! We dogs have much to teach humans about how to live! Mom was one of the humans who paid good attention. In fact, she thought my lessons were so important she found a sign that represented them:

Share That Chair: Cartoon vs. Reality

I love to cuddle next to Mom. I love to share her bed. And I will share her chair or recliner as often as possible. Art often imitates life and this cartoon does a cute job!

And here is real life…we do share the chair!
