This morning our walk began with a huge mishap. The tiny dog owned by a negligent neighbor was in our pasture demanding to become a “scooby snack”! Dash and I were quite impatient about making that wish become a reality – and, to be honest, Mom did not want to stop us although she would. (Of course, we really would just play with the noisy nuisance…)
Instead of listening to directions, I had a plan, a very bad plan, as it turned out. I was going through that doorframe first. I stuck next to Mom like glue. I paid no attention to the fact that the door is made for one person not one person and a large Newfie. It is even less appropriate to attempt to squeeze a human and an XL dog through a dog that has a partially closed screen door…that the Newfie ignores! Imagine the chaos. Newfie drags Mom and Dash through the door as the screen crashes onto the deck and four dogs begin barking and three horses begin running and snorting and Mom yelps!

It was a door jam of epic proportions! Observe the evidence.

Do you think if I dress up and look cute like this puppy she will let me help with the decorations later?

Or will I be on the Naughty list today?
