Driving Ms. Daisy

Mom is a rare person who did not race to get her driver’s license at age sixteen. She used public transportation in college and biked fourteen miles in graduate school to the university. She finally bought a car when she married
and had a baby. To this day, she prefers to walk whenever possible. I like that because it means we get extra exercise and time to explore!
But I wonder what happens when Mom gets too old. We watched the movie,”Driving Ms. Daisy”, and we have no chauffeur. Will Mom know when to stop driving? Some older folks do not. I have seen them ( and their dogs) in the car. It looks like this!

That’s when you know for certain. Look your dog straight in the face. He won’t lie to you.

Uh Oh: They Are Behind Me!

Now I know how Mom feels when she is driving and there is a policeman behind her! This captures it! Gotta love it!
