I just got back from a wonderful weekend with my best friends/sisters in Texas. Catherine had a baby back in November so we planned this trip out to see her and her sweet little girl Claire.
We packed our stay with lots of fun and super girly things to do and lots baby cuddling and kissing. Poor Chad, Catherine's husband, had to deal with lots and lots of girl talk, but he took it like a champ. :)
We got there late Thursday night and then Friday morning we hit the mall for some fun shopping. Then we hit the grocery store so we could make the fun things we had planned from Pinterest for meals.
Saturday Melissa did our makeup and then we treated ourselves to some very relaxing, amazing pedicures. Then we went back to Catherine's place and Melissa gave us manicures. Later, we went on a walk near Catherine's apartment, through a neighborhood filled with mansions and drooled over all the neat houses. We toured one of the homes that was an open house. Dream on Christine!
Sunday we of course went to church and then over to Catherine's mother-in-law's house for a delicious dinner and nice visit.
And then Monday morning bright and early (we're talking 4:30 am) it was again time to part ways. I had such a blast. Love you girls! We don't get to see each other enough. Too bad we have to all live in different states.
A big thanks to my wonderful husband for making this visit possible. He was so sweet to hold down the fort so I could have a weekend away. Love that man.
Not only did we get pedicures, but we got pedicures in a tropical paradise. Bonus!
I want this house! I so wanted to knock and get a tour.
