The Finished Product

Rob painted Blake's train table the other day and then I glazed it like I did with his dresser...yay, it's done!  We love it, and Blake does too.

My Adorable Kids

I may be slightly biased, but I think my kids are just the cutest things ever-especially when they are being happy and nice to each other.  This morning they were looking extra cute before I took Natalie to school.  The weather turned pretty cool here, so I was able to pull out the new fall clothes!  And-complete shocker-it rained all night and into the morning, so Natalie got to wear her new ladybug rain boots to school.  She was so excited.  I love that they are holding hands.  They can be the best of buddies sometimes.  Love it when that happens.

And speaking of fall, I put out our fall decorations the other day...so fun.  And I invited a friend over and made these candy corns to add to the collection.  I love this time of year!

A Visit to the Past

Saturday we paid a visit to the Natural History Museum.  Albuquerque is so family friendly.  Between the zoo, aquarium, gardens, Explora, and the "dinosaur museum" as the kids call it, we keep pretty busy having fun.  We hadn't been here in quite a long time, though, and the kids were so excited to see the robot dinosaur exhibits that were on loan from another museum until October.  The huge T-Rex behind us moved and made noise...pretty cool.  Blake wouldn't get near it unless we were holding him :)

Love my little family...soon to be family of 5!

Natalie kept asking to go back and see the robot dinosaur.

37 Weeks and Getting Anxious!!

Just for the record's sake, Natalie has been my photographer throughout most of this pregnancy, so the pictures are a bit blurry, but pretty good for a five year old.

I'm officially full term, though I'm thinking this baby girl is going to choose to bake at least 3 weeks longer in my oven, and I'm ok with it (we'll see if I say the same thing in 3 weeks).  I am feeling fantastic.  I have my days, every once in awhile where I'm tired and it's hard to breathe, but most days, I feel wonderful.  This baby has been so easy on me.  As long as I keep moving, I feel great and my feet don't swell at night-just an added bonus.  The other day I walked four miles according to my pedometer, and I slept like a rock that night.  It was nice.

I feel smaller than I felt with Blake at this time...probably because this one's a girl.

I had a dream the other night that she had darker hair than my other two, and Rob has been having the same premonition, so only time will tell.  It would be fun to have one that looked like me, though I think my husband is so handsome and love the little clones that he gave me for our first two children :)

We are all ready for her to come.  Her bed is set up, carrier is all girly and covered, head accessories are done, I went to Carter's last week and bought lots of teeny tiny pink clothes since most of the clothes from Natalie are for summer, and I arranged a newborn photographer for about a week after she is born.  Baby girl-we cannot wait to meet you!

The next pictures are me pregnant with Blake just over a month before he was born, so I definitely was bigger with him.

Look how little Natalie was!  She is growing up way...too fast, and I'm not ok with it.

Busy, Busy Havin' Fun!!

We've been making the most of our last summer days here at the Bell Household.

My pretty Cinderella/Natalie went to a princess birthday party for her little next door neighbor friend.  Sleeping Beauty made a surprise visit, and the little girls (and my little boy) were ecstatic.

 My silly boy.

Sleeping Beauty read a princess story (her own) and sang and danced with them.

Prince Blake wooed the princess into giving him a dance or two.  It was so funny-he just went up to her and stood and stared until she caught on and took his hands for a waltz :)

Blake likes to wear everyone else's shoes around the house sometimes.  I thought he looked especially cute in his daddy's.

Such a handsome boy.  He likes mommy to come out and watch him play.

Last Saturday we went to the botanical gardens and the butterfly house.  We remembered to bring bread so the kids could feed the ducks.  There were only a few to begin with and when the kids brought out the food, the ducks came in swarms. :)

The kids with their new friends the ducks.

Saturday night, we all cleaned up the yard and then Rob pitched a tent on the back patio and slept (or didn't sleep) out with the kids.  Let's just say it was a rough night, but the kids had a blast.  Natalie found a lizard and it actually let her touch it.  She was so excited.  She checked for it the next morning and of course it was gone.

Then Monday (Labor Day), Rob planned out and built a train table for Blake.  We're going to paint it red and distress it to match his dresser.  My hubby is so talented!

The kids got in another swim before the cooler weather (hopefully) sets in.

I have an archer for a daughter!  Rob has recently taken up archery and wanted to teach Natalie, so he bought her a bow and we went to the shooting range last night.  She is amazing at it...a natural for sure.  She enjoys it too.

Blake had fun riding his bike and trying to avoid the prickly bushes...failing only once.  The joys of living in a desert.

I love my little family so much!  Sometimes I just get so overwhelmed with appreciation that Heavenly Father blessed me to have such an amazing husband and two (soon to be three) beautiful, amazing children.  There is certainly no greater happiness in life than that of the family.
