Fun on the Fourth

We had a fab Fourth of July this year. In the morning we got together with some dental friends and went swimming and had a lunchtime BBQ. Then home for the kiddies to have naps...they were VERY exhausted. Bennett held down the fort while I got to have some retail therapy on my own...I didn't get much, but it was so fun to walk around stores, sipping my diet coke, and looking at all the things I want to get when we aren't living off of student loans :) Hehehe. Then we went out to dinner as a family, and headed over to a friend's house to watch our city's fireworks show. Our friends live on the 3rd floor of an apartment, and had a perfect view from their balcony. We put Cam to bed, but let Avarie stay up until 11 pm. She was an angel the entire day, and felt like such a big girl staying up. She sat on the balcony and would exclaim, "WOW! WOW!" everytime a firework went off. Pretty much the cutest thing ever.

This is Avarie on Sunday, July 3rd. We had to be patriotic for church :)This is very off-center, but the only pic of me and Bennett from the holiday.

At this point Avarie was the only one left in the pool, she wanted some alone time.
We brought her kiddie pool with us because she likes to feel independent, and doesn't always want to be held or stay in her tube in the "big" pool.

My handsome and beautiful green and blue-eyed boys

This little boy has me wrapped around his chubby finger. Sweetest. Cam-chop. Ever.

Dangling her leggies over the edge of the balcony watching the fireworks show. Little sweetheart.
Hope everyone had a fun holiday! We love America :)
