WOW! We are rocking 15 ENTRIES to this year’s Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Superhero Fest… 15 amazing stories that I can’t wait to share with you! As I received a few of them as late night entries last night, it will take me a while to get the banners made and the stories up for voting (especially as I have a sick toddler too, lol – when it rains it pours). The plan is for the stories to be up and voting open tonight by 9PM (PST) at the latest. So until then… Spread the good word and get ready for some awesome, wild stories to come!

New story! I know – I still need to finish Alight and start on the sequel to Thirsty, but come on guys! Demon Dean – how could I say no?!?! This story will be completed in three parts, the first of which is up and linked below. I’ve been wanting to tackle this for a while and couldn’t resist any longer so please let me know what you think.

Summary: On the flight home from saving Edward in Italy, Bella has a decidedly different reaction to finding out the truth behind him abandoning her. While running from her demons, Bella crosses paths with a couple of new ones, one of which she has no desire to run from… New Moon A/U and set in the beginning of season 10 in Supernatural.

…That’s not a threat… At least I don’t think it is…

A brief update on my stories… I haven’t written too much as I was busy prepping for the contest but I have started a Bella/Demon Dean one-shot called Bad Medicine that will likely be the next thing posted (I’ll post a teaser on FB soon!). I’ve also started Alight… Loki is pretty eager to come out and play 🙂

I don’t want pictures of Spider-Man – that menace! Oh wait, well, I guess I do because I quite like him… but that’s not all I want! There’s only five days left to enter the Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Superhero Fest so what I really want to see are some more story submissions!

So far we have about nine stories – NINE! I’m so thrilled by the turn out all ready and I am bouncing in my seat with excitement… And I feel no shame – none, I tell you! – when I tease you all by saying that I know it’s going to be another close race. I’ve read all the submissions and my heart is bursting I love them all so much. It’s going to be a tough one and I love it!

So don’t delay. You have until 4/17/15 midnight PST to get them to me. Start writing and enter today!

Contest rule update:

There is now a two entry limit on submissions. I want people to be able to stretch and explore the vast, rich world comic books/movies have to offer but I still want to keep things fair. Therefore, I will only accept two submissions from any given entrant. It is not a requirement to submit more than one but you cannot submit more than two.

It’s official – Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Superhero Fest is now OPEN!

I know… the long wait is over so send your stories in and I’ll get started on making banners and other pretties for you, my darlings. I’m happy to say I received a couple early entries and many others have expressed their desire to enter – looks like it’s shaping out to be an amazing turnout already and I can’t tell you how thrilled I am about it.

Please don’t be shy if you have any questions and be sure to read all of the rules as they’ll be strictly enforced (clicker HERE for rules and contest info). Send out your bat signals and let everyone know about the contest – the more attention we receive means more possible entries and the world needs more superhero fanfiction!
