Hello dear friends. I have not forgotten about you. In fact everyday I think about you and how I should be posting on here and at the very least update you on why I have been inactive. But then life gets the better of me.

First off, my October was dedicated to me making my very elaborate Halloween costume. Okay, not so elaborate but I have not used a sewing machine in well over 15 years and I needed to use one for my costume so that was time consuming to say the least. I spent every waking hour I was not at work making this freaking dress. But it was well worth it because it turned out fantastic. Do you want to see?

Okay, okay I was gonna show you anyway…

Yes finally my dreams came true and for one night I was Arwen Undomiel and I felt like the Evenstar.

Let’s face it, I am probably going to wear that dress once a week just so I can feel like I live in Rivendell. (takes a break from writing this to go and put dress on)

So that was October. November is NaNoWriMo and unlike last year were I failed miserably, this year I’ve been burning the midnight oil. I put so much more effort into my writing. I guess that’s what they say though, you only get out of it what you put into it. And I am pouring my heart and soul into this novel. It is nothing like my original idea 3 years ago and has even changed over the last 3 weeks. I have found purpose for storylines and plot twists I could not have dreamed of. I gave myself a goal to finish the entire book by December 31. If I keep up with what I have been doing I think it can be done!

I apologize for my lack of reviews and book news and ramblings and such. But this is all for the greater good! I did however just finish two books and I plan on writing reviews for those in the next couple days as a rest break between writing my novel.
