Color blocking is not so new but it is a trend that keeps coming back for more! What is color blocking you might ask? It’s the combination of super saturated fun colors yet so minimalist, usually three colors or more. It doesn’t have to be dull and boring, you can still dress it up with accessories and colorful hues for makeup. Be daring! Nobody said that you could get ahead by playing it safe 🙂

The Attic@The Deck

The Attic @ The Deck opened up last night with some great deals. I had heard about it on Flickr because I wanted the WinxBox Artist Studio and when I showed up there they weren’t open yet. But Whimsy and Sasy was nice enough to let me in and be their first customer and I had a good start on the sales-everything was for L95. They had everything from poses, hair, skins, clothes, and accessories from various designers on SL.

I love the new mesh Pom Poms jumpsuit from GizzA. I’ve never really been fond of one shoulder type tops but this one is totally sexy without looking trashy. The single flirty puffed sleeve reminds of a Grecian Goddess and the wide legged pants adds a classic touch to it.

What Haute Couture is to me

I am currently attending Mimmi Boa’s Modeling Academy on Second Life and we were given an assignment to dress up in haute couture. To me haute couture is something custom made/sewn, not made for the masses, but high fashion. When I think of haute couture, the names of Christian Dior, Versace, Gaultier, John Galliano, Valentino, Chanel, McQueen, Lagerfeld, and Armani pop into mind. I decided to put together different pieces from some of my favorite designers on SL altogether and this is what I came up with.
