Feel the Rain

It rained this morning. It felt so good to wake up to the sound of rain especially when I didn’t have to go into work today. Rain can stir up a lot of different emotions. It can cause a feeling of calm and peacefulness washing over me. You either hate it or you love it.

Most of all, I love the smell of rain after it ends. It’s an unforgettable feeling and smell of freshness. It’s one of those kind of things where you have to experience it firsthand in order to really understand it completely. Like Bob Marley said,

“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.”

Hope For Emilia

“Hope for Emilia” is to help raise funds for the earthquake victims of Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, north of Bologna, that first occurred on May 20, 2012 with dozens of aftershocks up until June. The 6.0 earthquake magnitude was felt throughout Northern Italy leaving thousands homeless and causing widespread damage to historical buildings. From July 22 until Aug. 9, 2012 there will be events including a summer fashion fair, fashion show, and art expo to help raise money to aide the victims of the earthquake. 100% of the proceeds goes to the fundraiser.
