What a better way to switch up your looks by a change of hairstyle. If you haven’t heard, the Hair Fair is going on right now from July 14-29th. I got up early on a Saturday morning just to come to this and I’m glad I did because the sim filled up very fast. But I was able to get in and get a few things that I knew that I wanted and then some.

The great part of this Hair Fair is that all of these wonderful hair designers on SL came together to donate proceeds of their sales to Wigs For Kids, which helps families with kids who had lost their hair due to chemotherapy, burn loss, alopecia, or other medical issues. Less guilt on your conscience.

The Hair Fair consists of four sims. Think of it like Disneyworld, it will probably take you a full day to just fully visit one park. But to save you some time for searching, visit the Hair Fair website here to see where specific designers are located on the sim or join the demo hair group to try on the hair beforehand.

Fun In Acapulco

For the casting of Solo Evane, the theme was “Acapulco beach party” and I chose this new “Elise” monokini bathing suit from VoguE and accessorized it with LaGyo. The Elise bathing suit from VoguE comes in various colors: bronze, scarlet, lavender, turquoise, magenta, and sky. I love LaGyo jewelry not only for the details but because they are color changeable on each individual piece (the earrings, waves bracelet, and multiring). And the new Audrey plateau heels from Redgrave also has a color hud, which you can change three parts of the heels so you can have a color block kind of style if you like. This beats having to buy so many pairs of shoes and jewelry in different colors.

Even though I’m a couple days late in posting this, better late than never, but I’d like to salute those serving in the military and the veterans (including my dad, grandfather, and uncle who are all retired U.S. Army), and I can’t thank you all enough for what you do. R&R Is A Must

This month for me have been quite hectic for me both RL and SL and sometimes I have to remind myself to just walk away from the keyboard from time to time and step outside. I was in need of some rest and relaxation. I kinda felt like I was neglecting my blog for a week but coming back from a long weekend of celebrating gay pride in Denver with friends in RL and having a blast as always, its good to be back feeling refreshed and anew despite the horrible hangover on Monday.

Blueberry Colors United came out with these new cute mesh “Ella” dresses which comes in various colors – yellow, beige, blue, pink, black, purple, orange, green, and in red. Demos are available in store for you to try on different sizes and must have an enabled mesh viewer. I find that most mesh outfits are quite expensive in price but if you are a bargain shopper like me, you’ll find lots of good deals here at Blueberry Colors United.
