Happy Lunar New Year Everyone!  Gong Hay Fat Choy!  It is based on the Lunar calendar and starts on January 31 with a new moon on the first day and ends on a full moon, 15 days later.  It is the longest and most important festivity in the Chinese calendar and is celebrated all around the world.  Ring in the Year of the Horse on Second Life at the Lunar New Year Festival sim and emerse yourself with this diverse culture and tradition.

Sometimes life changes, it can change in a blink of an eye. It can change however slowly or in a moment. That unexpected moment. And you open your eyes. You can either be brave and take charge of the honesty, or you can pretend it’ll all work out even though you know it wasn’t meant to. Then you wait long enough that someone else takes charge. The blow is still hard and knocks you off your feet, but you can breathe for the first time in months. The loss may still hurt but you have to believe that something else was written for you in the stars.  What is truly meant to be. What will happen. What I hope will happen.

Liv-Glam “Lea” Print Dress and Jacket

This month has been very busy for me with RL work and traveling so now I’m trying to play catch up with my blogs and styling.  It is something I enjoy doing and I try to post something once every day if not save as drafts to post for later.

One of my favorite patterns are polka dots.  It’s feminine and fun to style like this new “Lea” Print dress and jacket from Liv-Glam.  I adore the contrasting patterns between the skirt and the jacket.  It has an awesome and unique color hud that I have never seen before and it was very easy to use.  This is a fun casual outfit, it goes great with tights and bold accessories.

Virtual Asia

Ever wanted to visit Tokyo, Japan?  Well you can on Second Life at Virtual Asia sim.  Maanaf, who created the NYC sim, developed another beautiful sim to share with us all.  As a model and a blogger, I’m always scouting around for different sims to explore and take pictures at and I would have to say this is one of my favorite landmarks.  You can take a walk down the streets and visit the many different shops, plant yourself at the Orange Cafe and blog or meet with friends, drive around on one of the golf carts or spaceship, dance the night away at Club Chica Boom, or watch a movie at the local cinema there.  Virtual Asia sim is definately worth visiting.  Places like this are hard to find.
