It was Tanabata on 7th July 2007. Tanabata is also known as the Stars Day. Saw papers with wishes hanging onto bamboos. I wrote my wishes on the papers and hang there too…
< Saw this in Nagasaki JR Station. Nagasaki is a harbour, so can see lots of ship models.
It was Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival on 15th July, I was in Fukuoka for a short while just to see their preparation for this festival. On that day, men will be carrying these heavy floats and go around the street. it weights about few tons!
