鸡蛋老人（真人真事）

曾经家里有一段流行用鸡蛋壳来做老人的时候。是姐姐会计补习班老师的女儿教她的。做法非常简单，就是在空的鸡蛋壳上画眼睛鼻子，再贴上白白的棉花当胡子。其实真的好可爱哦。。

Mdm Siaw- 姐姐的会计补习班老师, 是我的会计老师。

Mdm Ho – 我的会计补习班老师, 是姐姐的会计老师。

姐姐不喜欢MdmHo， 但她好喜欢MdmSiaw。 她可以在她在教师宿舍的小小家里逗留，和她家人交流交流一番。。 当MdmHo知道姐姐去MdmSiaw 那补习，对姐姐的偏见就更高了。。

我和几个老友，不怎么喜欢MdmHo， 但也不喜欢MdmSiaw。。 最记得她那句：“把你们的手放在你们的心上，问问你们的良心！” WaLaoEh。。 我们只是上课讲讲话，就要问良心？！当然MdmSiaw也不喜欢我们去MdmHo那补习。。 因为当时只有两个会计老师，他们之间的摩擦， 年纪小小的我们已很了解了。。

在雷电交叉的另一边，就有一位脸色苍白，走路又慢又小步，脸上带着微笑的男数学老师- 叶柄香老师。叶老师是MdmSiaw的丈夫。说起来，很难想象他们是两夫妻，因为MdmSiaw算是长的高大， 说起话来非常有力气。。 和叶老师是很大的对比。。。

毕业后，有时会校走走，我已把以前不愉快的事忘了，看到每一个老师都会有礼的问好。。

在2002 年时，突然听到一个很惊人的消息，叶老师他在马大医院堕楼自杀了。。 叶老师这几年的医药费昂贵的他已不忍心让妻子负担了。。。 一个人要在病着时从病床走到窗口，再跳下去，这决对不是一时想不开的决定。。

数月后，我们又听到另一个惊天动地的恶讯。。。 老师的十来岁女儿也跳楼自杀。。。 据报章说，女儿跳楼前致电给朋友说：“我想爸爸，我要去找爸爸了”

最近我听说Mdm Siaw 因过渡伤心，病逝了。。 鸡蛋老人，一摔跤，就完完全全的破裂了。。

这缩短了的真人真事也许你们会觉得有点戏剧化， 但它的确发生了。。 这时请你们看看身边的人，有谁是需要关心的？有谁需要帮助的？ 也许我们对身边的人多一份关心， 会阻止许多悲剧的发生。。。 在此祝大家身体健康，开心天天。。。

A true story about my teacher… whose husband commited suicide because of his sickness, her daughter commited suicide too because she missed her dad too much. My teacher also passed away… Its a sad story but I hope we can pay more attention to people around, they might need love and cares from us… keep in touch with them today…

We Danced together again and we Won!

We were invited to join the AFC’s Talentime 2008 Cultural Dance Contest by Wendy which happened Yesterday. I was a bit reluctant to join because of my tight schedule this month… We had only less than 1 month to prepare for this contest and i had singing contest and Night Classes.. Wendy tried to convince me and i was convinced with one of the things she said: “We can dance together again!”

We are remembered by schoolmates as the “DANCING PEOPLE”.. yeah we danced a lot and we won years’ dancing contests.. The last time time Me, Zerong and Wendy danced together (with Suan’s guidance) was 1997.. that year we were so Kiasu that we danced 2 dances because we thought it was our final dancing contest.

The feelings we have about we can dance together again are undescribable with words… Its something that we always thought of doing it together however we thought we wouldn’t have the chance to do so again… Now i started to believe that anything is possible. 🙂 We talked about those wonderful years when we performed in various occasions: His Majesty Birthdays, Royal Weddings, even at the Hong Kong’s transfer of the sovereignty to China celebration, companies’ annual dinners and so on.

To be exact, we only had 25 days to master, to remember and to synchronise this Uyghur aka Tian Shan Dance. Rachel and Wendy sacrified their time with Jayden and Darius respectively, Suan escaped from her chicken Stall, Vui postponed her driving class, Rebecca sacrified her time at home b4 she flying to USA for her studies, I freeze my Gym membership. because of all these sacrifications, we cannot lose this contest, we put high expectation on each of us. Each of us danced solo so that we could pinpoint every minor mistakes. Sorry mates, i might had hurt any of your feelings by giving harsh comments. I have sharp eyes!

And We Won the 1st prize!! We screamed out loud when we heard the result.. the Trophy is all we got but its really rewarding.. thanks everyone for making this happened in my life…  Taking picture with Miss Tay Ai Toh and our trophy!

The Sky, The Beach and Me

I love beaches and the sky

We organised a Picnic Today, it was suppose to be last weekend, but due to my singing contest, it was postponed to today. Emails been circulating about the games and Food between families since last month. The picnic was held at Tutong Beach and started at 11am.

Food range from normal things like Salad, Sandwiches, Noodles, fried chicken to unusual stuff like Rice Dumplings and Century Egg (my grandma’s idea)!

I laid down on the mat and watched the sky again.. I love to watch the sky.. it makes me think, think about the past, things going on now and things coming up next. The last time i watched the sky was about 3 months ago when i was in VV, with Excellent cushion, excellent air, excellent atmosphere, excellent Natural background music, i was thinking “Is this real? isn’t this what I’ve longed for? What else can i ask for?”

Occasionally, I saw faces looking at me like this…

We were in vui’s favorite pose.. mm.. i duno why i was so out of the circle..

We rented 2 scooters at $10 for 20 mins Each..

At the end, we didn’t play any games, some played sand, some played water, some slept, some keep eating…

Just drift me away to where i belong…

Dating A Sagittarius Female?

Someone sent this post to me, and i find it really interesting… Let me analyze how true this is…
If you are dating a Sagittarius Female, be ready willing and able to goanywhere (True) . She loves sports (True) and to travel (Very True). A perfect date would be an overnight excursion to Mount Olympus, and skiing down the slopes for breakfast (this is interesting). Pick her up in your jeep, or pickup truck, she won’t mind your dog either (Not True).

Dress casual (depends on where u going), and be able to tell her about an Indian Shaman you know, who invited you to a tribal ceremony. She’ll want to go with you. Don’t do the same things twice in a row. She won’t care who you are dating(Not True), because she has plenty of men friends (True). Sagittarius women can be ready for a date on a moments notice(True). She’ll be great at men’s activities (True), like softball(Not True), and eating the worm from a Tequil bottle(erm… not true). She will have been everywhere, but darn, Sagittarius females are fun to be around(This is so True! haha!). You can win her heart with variety in your lovemaking(no comment). She isn’t the type to spend time in the kitchen (Very True) or babysitting(Very True).

Show her you want to be a companion in all of her zany schemes. When she falls for you, she will ask you to do things with her (True). Marriage is not on her mind (no comment), but she would marry you, if she felt you were compatible enough(definitely). Sagittarius women love their freedom(Very the True!!)!

Once I was treated like a Star

Eversince my recording was published on the E-Huawang Website, my family and friends been trying to make me feel like a star… My family and relatives who seldom listen to RTB, started to listen everyday and waited for my song to broadcast on air..

 It was on Eric’s Birthday, Caryn and Rachel babysit me thru out the whole dinner… and they asked me “futurestar” to present the birthday gift to Eric on behalf of all… Linda also labelled me as Superstar SJ in her photos on her facebook.  Another occasion was on Darius 1st Birthday, they took picture of me signing autographs.. More pictures from Bernice coming up soon…

Mum didn’t let me eat anything fried or spicy few days b4 the contest. She sponsored my family the tickets for the semi final. its B$15 each by the way. Received a white rose for good luck from my fans.

It was 13th July, the Semi Final of the Singing Contest. I was kind of worry that day, even the day before. Because i still can’t remember the lyrics well. I woke up at 8am and went to RTB for rehearsal. My competitor cum singing practise partner sms me to remind me to bring jacket. I sang quite well during rehearsal. Uncle 4 and Silvia purposely rushed back from Miri to make sure me and Yi Fan’s Key is adjusted correctly.

Got home at 10am and relax for a while. I planned to wear a dark green dress too look elegant and low profile. But everyone said i look like i was going to office. then the very last minute, they changed my dress completely, Angela, Vui and Mum made me looked like a star. Well, some said i looked like a High class Escort! haha… Oh by the way, this dress was from Tim Collections – 2nd floor of the Mall. – Free advertisement.

Eahui my no 1 fans admiring me…

 Vui my other fan was trying to get near me, luckily i have a pregnant bouncer to push her away from me…

I sang one more time b4 i left home. Uncle 2 family were there, and they were so sporting to cheer out loud after i sang. Uncle 2 said if there isn’t many people standing outside then don’t get down from the car, must wait til everyone is there, then only get down.  hehe.. anyway, i was one of the last to arrive and i wasn’t too nervous after talking to a few contestants. I made friends. 🙂 YC – a fren whom i met after the recording thru blog came to say Hi.

My supporters: Dad, Mum, Uncle 4,  Silvia, Jiayng, Vui, Stephen, Angela, Lawrence, Grandma, Beeyi, Hwayi, Cheng Cheng, Wj. When Grandma said she wanted to see me sing, that reminded me about the last singing contest i had 17 yrs ago, she was there too… Stephen was so surprised to see my whole kampong came. Well, everyone knew i will not get thru this round, and if they didn’t come this time, they won’t see me sing on stage again…

Surprisely I wasn’t nervous at all when it was my turn. I think i presented myself steadily 🙂 i Looked at the audience and i saw quite a no of ppl i know down there watching at me.. but i didn’t sing well. Well, this is a singing contest not a presentation contest…

There was a small waiting area for the contestants, we were all chatting and had fun waiting.

Below is the video shot when they announcing who got eliminated… XiaoXia was standing beside me, when the MC opened the list, she lifted up high enough and Xiao Xia told me “Aiya.. i saw my name liao”, i took a peep, and  i laffed “I saw my name too!” then we both giggling there.

 Right after i got back from RTB, i couldn’t resist anymore, so i started to eat durian!! I didn’t eat the day b4 for my throat.

After all, I am very happy for what i’ve went through. The experience of song recordings in a real studio, famly and friends treated me like a star, replying comments i received from people who heard my singing, The Critics about me on E-huawang, my performance on stage and friends who keep asking for the progress of the Singing Contest and more…

I will not forget this experience and I am looking forward for the other “To-Do Things” in my Life List to be Accomplished!

Is just a Competion.. why so much noises

Eversince they started to announce the result of the RTB Mandarin Singing Contest, there are barbarians started to make noise in the E-Huawang Website. I started to comment after i saw the below comment:

101 如果大家打算明年参加这场比赛请记得-如果你妈妈不在电台作工，你爸爸在文莱没有名气(望)，你跟易华网的人不熟，请不要浪费时间和精力。因为这场比赛是在比关系，不是实力。i agree, i agree, i agree, i agree, i agree….sh!t competiton!!

101 said that this contest is only for ppl whose mum works in RTB, father is someone well known in Brunei, know Ehuawang people well. Other people will not be able to win.

I left this comment:

Blacksnail: 让我陈清一下，我不认识任何RTB， 易华网的人和裁判。我只想参加比赛罢了。
(I would like to clarify that I don’t know anyone in RTB and EHuawang, i just want to compete)

The reason why i’m doing so is to tell people that we get into semi final not because of who we are. its based on the Judges’ point of view. But at the end i saw these comments:

I Replied:

Blacksnail 214: Yeap, exactly, i also dunno why i’m in.. I just want to get involve in the chat, so i just leave a comment. But people thought i’m hiding stg .

But I’m glad that someone commented this after all the above comments:

Being an IT literate person, I can see that Liz, 909, 212, 204, 101 and etc are from the same person as we can see the IP Address. Can you imagine someone actually sit in front of the computer, use different nick names to send out comment?  he or she must be someone damn free…

Someone even commented that they are same IP cos they are using Wireless… yes tat’s possible, that’s consider “GENERAL KNOWLEDGE”, and that’s even more pathetic, you imagine few people sitting in the same room and they start to attack ppl using un appropriate language together.. just like a cage of dogs barking together…

Come to a point even some named “Speedy” commented this:

Speedy 那就要多多加油咯， 黑心肝蜗牛!

Excuse me??? Based on what you commented i’m “Black Hearted”?! you know how much good deeds i did or not? and i don understand why they are using rude words like “Stupid”, “asshole” , and u can name it. I will just leave the chat room to avoid seeing disgusting comments… Its so pathetic.. But I learned one thing from here, People always talk politely and nicely in front of you, but when they can speak anonymously, you know deep down inside they can be so rude… Their thinking is so negative… whatever good things u said, they think you have a negative intention.

Well, for people who are not happy with the result should understand that there is no Contest which is Fair. Because different people has different opinion and view. You think the judges are not worry about getting complaints by people if they didn’t judge properly or if they biase to their friends? Think…

I Coughed? that’s throat clearing… I walked away from the Mic before i clear my throat, but the Mic is super sensive. I sneezed too, can you hear it?? 

anyway, i’m preparing for the semi final now, which will be held on 13th July 2008 at RTB.

Joining a competition is not a SIN, Judges make wrong judgement is not a SIN, clarification is not a SIN too, but people who insulted people has sin, people who used disgusting words spoilt his/her parents and teachers and the nation reputations. Be more civilised… Please..

My Ambition (20 Yrs ago)

Have you ever thought of becoming a Teacher just because u love to draw on the blackboard? 

As for me, my ambition 20 yrs ago was…. to be an Immigration Officer, which i refered as “Chop Passport 的人” because i Love to Stamp. I didn’t have a stamp to play with when I was so into this ambition. I used to use a bottle as stamp and a book as stamping pad to play the stamping game.

It was 1989, I was primary 3 and I went to chit chat with the Aunty at the stationery shop. The Stationery shop used to located at the 1st Stall of the School Canteen. Its normally very quiet during school break as students were queueing up at the food Stalls, especially the Kolomee Stall. Hence the Stationery Aunty was always very Free one.

I spotted Aunty was selling Stamps! cute cute stamps. If i am not mistaken, It cost $1 only. I was very tempted to buy but i didn’t buy. My mum taught me not to simply spend money and i got punished once for spending my school fee. It took me a few days before i decided to buy it. 🙂 Yeah i Bought it!

Guess what, I didn’t use it to play my stamping game. 🙂 i just took it out to stamp one or two on some books once a while. hehe.. it was something that i treasured v much. i was so worry the ink will gone off too soon, – its self inking.

Well, i think that fact is not too surprising, the most amazing fact is… I still keep the stamp til today and still got ink!!! see~~ the color its a bit faded now, but still looking good, My Little Elephant! and he is greeting you guys!! he said “How are you?”

Even til now, Whenever I have to stamp any documents, I will still think of the Ambition which I used to have 🙂
