So I recognize not many teen moms get the same kind of happy ending that Sookie’s getting in this story. It’s a shame, too. Being a parent is difficult at any age, but I imagine it’s even more difficult when you’re a teenager and still trying to figure out how to be an adult. So to any teen moms who might be reading this story, I personally give you serious props because I couldn’t imagine having been in your shoes when I was a teenager. I couldn’t imagine being there now and I’m 32.
I still plan on finishing Just A Little Heat (I’ve started chapter 30 of it) but I don’t know when it’ll get done. I might even go back and take a look at Closer to see if I can get that resolved since I never meant for it to be very long when I pitched the idea to Scribe.
Thank you all so much for sticking with us and leaving us all the reviews over the years. I can’t speak for Scribe anymore but I feel confident in saying that I’m sure she appreciates it all as well. For me, personally, this was one of the most satisfying stories to write and I’m glad that it touched a few nerves.
Thank you so much for reading!
