Zha Zha
put the radio on
the side walk voiced
loud with anger
all those stuck like gum
it cracked and hummed.

Zha Zha
put the radio on
purple haze is on
bebels on the road
down with the sun
stationary hum.

Zha Zha
put the radio on
upset jeep
insect leap
cricket howl
crack and creak
their in the seats
it cracked and hummed.

Zha Zha
put the radio on
the sky is striped
the histories wiped
only a smart sky
left over lies
future followed by
Heat from a drum.

year of the sniper
and unmotivated slander
makes us all wonder
who anticipates the thrown

when presented splendour
makes unprecedented blunder
his own undoing nature
left us each to our own

there is little love for us today
nothing grows , we pan away
high opiate trauma
fuels the dilemma

Magic trick at the Dinner Party

Now, for my next trick,
I will make the white elephant in the room…
they come and go, talking,
glancing side to side
dimly little lights hide
the night from
subtle stories shaping smiles
and weary eyes

Disappear!

The guests all turn their gazed
marveling at the magic show.
then sighed
a quiet relief.
