Service Fee Waivers:

Benefit Provider: Klarna Card Pay Later Plans and One Time Card extensions of credit are issued by WebBank.

Benefit Description: As part of your Membership, no Service Fee will be charged to you with respect to eligible One-Time-Card extensions of credit, Klarna Card Pay in 4, or eligible Gift Card purchases in the Klarna App, subject to Klarna Membership eligibility requirements and credit approval. Please note that this benefit only applies to One-Time-Card and Klarna Card Pay Later Plan extensions of credit and does not apply to other products, including term loan financing and the Klarna Credit Card. The Service Fee waivers will be applied in sequential order to transactions in a given billing cycle up to the limit for your particular Klarna Membership Plan. If you return an order, you will forfeit that fee waiver and will not receive an additional fee waiver during  a given billing cycle.

Physical Klarna Card:

Benefit Provider: The Klarna Card is issued by WebBank, member FDIC. Funds in your Klarna Balance deposit account are held at WebBank, member FDIC.

Benefit Description: Klarna Membership subscribers who have signed up for a Klarna Card and Klarna Balance Deposit account will receive a physical Klarna Card. You may be prompted to provide us a shipping address at sign up to ensure we can send the Klarna Card. If we have an address on file, the Klarna Card will be sent automatically once you have both (1) signed up for a Klarna Card and Balance deposit account, and (2) enrolled in a Klarna Membership. Nonmembers are entitled to a virtual card only.

If you cancel your Membership Plan within the first 6 months of Membership, you may be required to pay us a Metal Card Fee of $50, which will be reduced by $8 each month over 6 months, as described in the Klarna Membership Agreement and the Balance Deposit Account Disclosures.

Klarna Balance Account Boosted Interest Rates:

Benefit Provider: Funds in your Klarna Balance deposit account are held at WebBank, member FDIC.

Benefit Description: If you have enrolled in Klarna Membership and open a Klarna Balance Deposit Account, you are eligible for an interest rate boost (“Balance Deposit Account APY Boost”) for funds that are deposited and held in your Balance Deposit Account. The Klarna Deposit Account is subject to its own separate Klarna Balance Deposit Account and Debit Flex Card Agreement. The amount of your Balance Deposit Account APY Boost is determined by your Klarna Membership Plan and is subject to change at any time.

Interest in your Klarna Balance Deposit Account will be accrued and paid, with the additional Balance Deposit Account APY Boost for Klarna Membership subscribers, as stated in the Klarna Balance Deposit Account and Debit Flex Card Agreement.

If you cancel your Klarna Membership or downgrade your membership level to a lower tier, you will continue to earn interest at your current Balance Deposit Account APY Boost through the end of any current billing cycle and your downgraded rate will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. 

If you upgrade your Membership level to a higher tier, you will begin to accrue the Balance Deposit Account APY Boosted interest immediately after upgrading your Membership tier.

Klarna Membership Cashback Rewards Points Benefits:

Benefit Provider: Klarna Cashback Rewards and any Cashback points earning benefits associated with your Klarna Membership are provided by Klarna. Funds in your Klarna Balance deposit account are held at WebBank, member FDIC.

Benefit Description: Klarna Membership subscribers that have a Klarna Balance Account are eligible to earn Klarna Cashback Rewards Points (“Klarna Membership Cashback”) on an eligible Pay in Full purchase that is paid using funds in a Klarna Balance Deposit Account, including any Pay in Full purchase using a Klarna Card (“Plan Cashback Bonus Eligible Purchase”), except for any Pay in Full purchase that is excluded below. Klarna or WebBank credit plans, including Klarna’s Pay in 4, Pay Later by Card, WebBank Issued One-Time Cards, Financing, or Klarna Credit Card transactions do not qualify for Klarna MembershipCashback.

When you enroll in a Klarna Membership, you are eligible to earn Klarna Cashback Rewards Points through purchases using your Klarna Card where the underlying payment is made using funds in your Klarna Balance Deposit Account (“Klarna Membership Cashback”). In order to receive Klarna Membership Cashback, you must download the Klarna App and enroll in a Klarna Balance Deposit Account, which is subject to its separate Terms & Conditions in order to have your Klarna Plus Membership linked to your existing Klarna Balance Deposit Account.

The Klarna Membership Cashback Points benefit allows you to (i) earn Cashback points when you make debit purchases with your Klarna Card or using your Klarna Balance Account as the funding source, and (ii) redeem your Klarna Cashback points with additional partners of the Klarna Membership program. The Klarna Cashback Rewards Points program is offered exclusively by Klarna. WebBank is not responsible for the Klarna Cashback Rewards Points program. Klarna Membership Cashback Points will be deposited directly into your Cashback Home either immediately or approximately 35-60 days after a Plan Cashback Eligible Purchase is made at our sole discretion. Klarna Membership Cashback points have no cash value until redeemed in your Klarna Balance Account. In the event you make a return or a purchase is cancelled by the merchant, you will forfeit your Cashback points earned in proportion to the amount of your return. So if you return 50% of the order, your cashback will be recalculated based on the new total purchase amount. Klarna reserves the right to make corrections based on erroneously disbursed cashback, or to reduce or increase future cashback earnings based on required corrections to previous erroneous disbursements as stated in detail the Klarna Cashback Rewards Points Program Terms and Conditions.

Klarna Membership Cashback Exclusions: Klarna Membership Cashback may only be earned on Plan Cashback Eligible Purchases.

Plan Cashback Eligible Purchases are limited to Pay in Full purchases that are not one of the following exclusions:

• Bail and bond payments

• Charitable donations, payments to religious organizations

• Financial services & P2P, Crypto purchases, money transfers of any sort

• Purchases made through another card or financial service that is using Klarna's card as a funding source, including, without limitation, loading value on pre-paid cards or gift cards

• Paying bills or debts of any kind, (including Klarna bills) including without limitation, payments to financial institutions, for utilities, for postal services, to debt collection agencies

• Cash withdrawals, cash advances or cash-like transactions

• Traveler checks, buying foreign currency (making a purchase in a different currency is fine, buying currency is not), money orders or wire transfers

• Lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions

• Interest

• Unauthorized or fraudulent charges

• Fees of any kind, including monthly or annual fees for any type of product or plan, including, without limitation, insurance, organization memberships, rewards plan memberships

• Insurance sales, underwriting, and premium costs of any kind

• Fines of any kind

• Legal and court costs, including, without limitation, court costs, alimony, child support, fees for legal services

• Marketing & advertising services, costs, and expenses

• IT & Cloud services (including webhosting and domain services)

• Real estate agent and manager payments

• Securities brokers or dealer payments

• Intergovernmental payments

• Business-to-business transactions

• Purchases at pawn shops

• Payments for professional services, including, without limitation escort or dating services, business services, accounting, auditing, or bookkeeping services, computer or network information services

• Tax payments or tax preparation services           

Eligibility for cashback is determined based on the merchant category code (MCC) assigned to each transaction by the card network. Klarna is not responsible for incorrect or unexpected MCC classifications. We in our sole discretion, exclude any other type of purchase from Klarna Membership Plan Cashback. We reserve the right to withhold or forfeit cashback, suspend participation, or close your account if we detect misuse, fraud, excessive return activity, or abuse of the Cashback program. 

Expiration of Klarna Membership Cashback points: Klarna Membership Cashback rewards do not expire as long as you maintain an active Klarna Membership. If you cancel your Klarna Membership, standard Cashback points expiration will apply, as stated in the Klarna Cashback Rewards Points Program Terms and Conditions.

Redeem Cashback points for Partner Loyalty Program points

Benefit description: All Klarna Membership tiers are eligible to convert earned Klarna Cashback Rewards points into rewards points with participating partner loyalty programs. Members can access this feature through their Cashback home to transfer points into affiliated loyalty programs, such as airline frequent flyer or hotel schemes, at the applicable conversion ratios. Conversion ratios for participating partners are listed within the Klarna app. Klarna Cashback Points have no cash value. 

Converted points are valid only for redemption toward flights and other partner program rewards and do not count toward tier or status upgrades within partner programs unless stated otherwise by the partner.  All points transfers are final and cannot be reversed or refunded. Once transferred, your points become subject to the terms and conditions of the partner loyalty program you have selected. 

Unless stated otherwise by the partner:

• You may only transfer Cashback points to a partner loyalty program account belonging to you. 

• Some Cashback points transfer requests might take up to one (1) business day to process. 

• Your Klarna Membership account information must match with the information on file at the partner loyalty program. Any discrepancy may result in delays or hinder a successful transfer.

Redeem Cashback Points for Gift Cards with Added Value

Benefit description: Premium and Max Membership Tiers in the can redeem earned Klarna Cashback Rewards points for digital gift cards from select participating merchants with additional value. 

Gift card offers and bonus values are subject to availability and may vary by merchant and time period. Klarna may change or discontinue gift card offers or additional value at any time without prior notice.

Redeemed gift cards are issued by third-party merchants. Gift card funds do not expire and are not subject to fees, as required under applicable U.S. law (12 C.F.R. § 1005.20). Once points are redeemed, the gift card is added to the member’s Klarna Wallet in-app.

All point redemptions for gift cards are final and non-refundable. Once redeemed, points cannot be returned or converted into cash. Gift cards are subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions and are not issued by Klarna. Klarna is not responsible for the merchant’s acceptance of the gift card or the goods/services purchased using the card.

Unless stated otherwise by the issuer:

• Some redemptions may take up to one (1) business day to process.

App Purchase Deals

Benefit Provider: Klarna

Benefit Description: “App Purchase Deals” are a one-time special discount, voucher, or deal that may be redeemed through a purchase using the Klarna App at any merchant that has Klarna integrated as a payment method at their checkout. The nature, amount, expiration date, minimum purchase amount, excluded items, and any other material terms and limitations of any App Purchase Deal will be communicated directly to you and can be found in the Klarna Membership section of your Klarna App. App Purchase Deals are subject to change and/or cancellation at any time. The amount, availability, and redemption terms of any App Purchase Deals that may become available are subject to change and/or cancellation at any time. 

Recurring App Purchase Deals: If you are eligible for this benefit based on your Membership Tier, you will be entitled to receive one (1) $8.00 App Purchase Deal every third month while your membership is active (“Recurring App Purchase Deal”) starting in your third month of Membership. The Recurring App Purchase Deal must be used during the billing cycle for which it has been granted, and the expiration date of such deal will be shown in the Klarna App.

Monthly In-App Purchase Discounts

Benefit Provider: Klarna

Benefit Description: If you are eligible for this benefit, you will be entitled to a specific amount of discounts (“Exclusive Deals”) in a given billing cycle at a pre-set number of merchants (“Exclusive Deal Merchants”). Each billing cycle, the Exclusive Deal Merchants and the amount of each discount will be chosen by Klarna, as the provider of the Exclusive Deals in its sole discretion. Each Exclusive Deal can only be redeemed once per billing cycle by making a purchase in the Klarna App at the designated Exclusive Deal merchant for the Exclusive Deal Discount. Thus, to obtain the full Exclusive Deal Benefit in a given billing cycle, you would need to make purchases at each Exclusive Deal Merchant. In any given billing cycle period, you will be entitled to a maximum amount (value) of Exclusive Deals as stated below, regardless of whether and when the Exclusive Deal Merchants change. At the end of a billing cycle period, any unused Exclusive Deal will expire.

Benefit description:  Through this benefit, Klarna Max members receive USD 5 off their monthly Klarna Mobile subscription. Klarna Travel eSIM

BENEFIT DESCRIPTION : The Klarna Travel eSIM provides monthly roaming data for customers travelling abroad, without requiring a physical SIM swap. It is data-only — calls and SMS are not supported. The Klarna Travel eSIM benefit runs alongside the customer's primary SIM, so their main phone number and service remain unaffected. 1. Program Overview

1.1 Purpose of Coverage
As part of the Klarna Membership program, eligible members are covered under a group credit card benefits policy administered by Cover Genius Insurance Services LLC, which partners with licensed insurance carriers in the U.S.

1.2 Eligibility
If you have subscribed to an eligible Klarna Membership tier you qualify for inclusion under this group policy.

1.3 Contractual Relationship
Klarna is the group policyholder; you are an insured person. Coverage cannot be purchased separately and carries no cash value.

2. Coverage Details

2.1 Coverage and Limits
Coverage may include benefits such as trip cancellation, interruption, baggage loss, or emergency medical coverage, depending on your membership tier.

Specific benefit descriptions, limits, and exclusions are detailed in the Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Summary of Coverage accessible via the Klarna App.

2.2 Effective Dates
Coverage takes effect when your membership becomes active and terminates when your membership ends or is downgraded.

2.3 Exclusions
Exclusions, benefit caps, and claim conditions are governed solely by the insurer’s policy documents provided by Cover Genius.

3. Claims and Customer Support

3.1 Claims Administration
Claims must be submitted directly through Cover Genius via their platform,  (XCover).
Klarna does not collect or process claim data, and has no role in determining outcomes.

3.2 Complaints and Appeals
Any claim disputes or coverage issues should be directed to Cover Genius Insurance Services LLC or the insurer identified in your Certificate of Insurance.

4. Data Privacy

Klarna shares only limited member data with Cover Genius Insurance Services LLC for enrollment purposes. Cover Genius complies with applicable U.S. privacy and state insurance regulations (including GLBA and CCPA where applicable) you can find Cover Genius’ privacy policy here.

5. Governing Law

Coverage and claims are subject to the laws of the state identified in your Certificate of Insurance. Klarna’s Membership Terms continue to be governed by Delaware law unless otherwise stated.

Cancel for Any Reason (Provided by Klarna)

BENEFIT DESCRIPTION: 

If you have a Max membership, you may be eligible for Klarna’s Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) Service, which lets you cancel eligible bookings or purchases made through Klarna and receive a partial refund or credit.

This benefit is a service provided by Klarna as part of the Klarna Membership Plan. The Cancel for Any Reason service is not insurance, and is administered by Cover Genius Europe B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands under Company No 73237426, acting on Klarna’s behalf.

You may be entitled to a refund of up to 70% of ticket values (non-refundable bookings) or up to $2,500 per case (whichever is lower), and up to an annual aggregate amount of $5,000.

Airport Lounge Access Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the rules governing Airport Lounge Access benefit (“Lounge Access”), which allows eligible Klarna Membership subscribers to purchase or redeem access to participating airport lounges through a Klarna Membership. These Terms form part of your Klarna Membership Agreement and apply in addition to Klarna Membership Agreement and Klarna’s Privacy Notice. By purchasing or redeeming a LoungeKey Pass, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Provider of the Service

The Lounge Access feature is provided in cooperation with Priority Pass Limited (“PPL”), which operates the LoungeKey Pass™ program. Airport lounges and related facilities are owned and operated by independent third-party lounge operators (“Lounge Operators”). Access, services and amenities are provided at the discretion of each Lounge Operator.

3. Eligibility and Structure

Lounge Access is available to Klarna members according to their membership plan as set out below:

All prices are market-specific and visible in the Klarna App. Each LoungeKey Pass is valid for one visit by one person. Klarna reserves the right to change pricing from time to time; any such change will be communicated before the purchase of a Lounge Pass. This benefit may be fully or partially subsidised by Klarna. 

4. Access, Capacity and Conditions of Use

Access to lounges under the Lounge Access feature is subject to availability and capacity limitations at each participating location. Lounge Operators may restrict entry during periods of high demand. Admission to any lounge is not guaranteed and remains at the sole discretion of the Lounge Operator.

To gain access to a participating lounge, a member must present a valid LoungeKey Pass, a same-day boarding pass, and government-issued identification matching the name on the LoungeKey Pass. Guests will be required to purchase a guest pass, and will also be required to provide their same-day boarding pass and government-issued identification. Lounge locations, operating hours and facilities are listed in the Klarna app and on the LoungeKey website (www.loungekey.com).

Members and guests are required to comply with the LoungeKey Conditions of Use and with the conditions of use of each individual lounge, available at https://www.loungekey.com/en/conditions-of-use. Failure to comply with such conditions may result in denial of entry.

5. Validity and Refunds

Each LoungeKey Pass is valid for a period of three (3) months from the date of issuance. A LoungeKey Pass not used within its validity period shall automatically expire and will not be eligible for refund.

Members may request a refund for any unused LoungeKey Pass within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase by contacting Klarna via the in-app Customer Service function. After 14 days have elapsed, you will forfeit your right for a refund except in Klarna’s sole discretion. In addition, refunds will not be provided after a lounge entry has occurred. 

6. Member Pricing and Benefits

The pricing of LoungeKey Passes is determined by your Klarna Membership level and is automatically applied at the time of purchase. Klarna Max members enjoy unlimited free lounge visits for themselves and may purchase guest passes. Klarna reserves the right to amend the pricing structure or introduce promotional pricing in certain markets. Current pricing is available in the Klarna app.

LoungeKey Passes are personal and non-transferable. A member may not sell, exchange, or otherwise assign a LoungeKey Pass to any third party.

7. Lounge Operator Responsibility

Lounge facilities, operating hours and available services are managed solely by the Lounge Operator. Lounge facilities may change without prior notice. Lounges may deny access due to capacity, dress code, behavior, or other operational reasons. Lounge Operators may also charge separately for certain premium services, including but not limited to alcoholic beverages, showers, and spa treatments.

Klarna, WebBank, and PPL shall have no control over and shall not be responsible for the actions, omissions, or service quality of Lounge Operators. Klarna and PPL shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, personal injury or expense arising from the use or attempted use of any lounge or associated facilities.

8. Data Protection

Klarna and PPL act as independent data controllers for the processing of personal data required to provide Lounge Access. Klarna will share limited data, including member name with PPL for the purpose of LoungeKey Pass generation and verification.

PPL and Lounge Operators may process personal data to confirm entry, verify boarding passes, and manage access control. Each party is responsible for compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent local data privacy legislation.

9. Complaints and Customer Support

Any queries or complaints relating to LoungeKey Pass billing, delivery, QR-code creation or refund requests shall be directed to Klarna’s Customer Service. 

Complaints and queries relating to lounge access, lounge availability, location, opening hours, facilities, Lounge Operator service, technical questions upon entry and related complaints shall be directed to PPL at loungekeypass@loungekey.com..

10. Liability

Klarna and PPL will exercise reasonable care to ensure that Lounge Access information, pricing and lounge listings are accurate and up to date. However, Klarna does not guarantee entry to any lounge or the availability of particular facilities.

Neither Klarna nor PPL shall be liable for any loss, damage, expense or injury suffered by members or guests in connection with Lounge Access. Klarna’s liability shall in all cases be limited to the price paid by the member for the relevant LoungeKey Pass. Nothing in these Terms shall limit Klarna’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Modifications and Termination

Klarna may amend, suspend or discontinue the Lounge Access feature at any time for operational, commercial or legal reasons. Any changes to these Terms will not affect LoungeKey Passes already purchased prior to such change.

Partner Subscription Benefits

Terms and conditions applicable to all Partner subscriptions:

1. When you sign up for any subscription with one of Klarna’s partners, you must use the same email address that is associated with your Klarna membership. If you register with a different email address, you will not receive the Klarna membership benefit. If you cancel your Membership, or downgrade your Membership to a lower tier where such a benefit is not included, you will no longer be eligible for a monthly partner subscription included in your Membership, and such an included subscription will be cancelled at the end of your current billing cycle.

2. Klarna may share your personal information with any partner as part of your Klarna membership reward redemption in accordance with Klarna’s privacy policy and/or WebBank’s privacy policy.

3. When you sign up for a free trial or introductory offer, the subscription will continue at the normal price after the end of any introductory offer, unless doing so is prohibited by law or the terms and conditions of the Partner. Please ensure you carefully review any terms and conditions before signing up for a free trial or introductory offer to understand what will happen at the end of that period of free or discounted access. All free trial and introductory offers are subject to change and/or cancellation at Partner’s sole discretion. 

4. All of Klarna’s membership rewards are for personal use only. Sharing codes and/or links with friends will result in immediate termination of your Klarna membership.
