CFK Africa is youth-centered and community-aligned.
We envision a future where a generation of healthy, educated, and innovative youth in informal settlements become visionary leaders and change-makers, facilitated by digital connectivity.
Youth in Kenya’s slums face many hardships, but they have learned to be resourceful, creative, and resilient. This holiday season, our youth wrote you a letter sharing their hopes, challenges, and gratitude. They remind us why our mission to empower youth in slums matters and why your support is so vital! Please consider a year-end tax-deductible donation to CFK Africa to support youth leaders like Vallary, Regarne, and Mercy throughout slums in Kenya.

In the 2025 school year, our Lux Sit and Jim Rogers scholars rose to the top! We are proud to celebrate a historic achievement: for the first time ever, three of our scholars earned an A plain, the highest possible KCSE score, representing the top 0.19% of students. We also applaud the many scholars who earned A-minus and B-plus scores. Their journeys have been marked by many ups and downs, and their accomplishments speak to extraordinary perseverance in the face of challenges of growing up in slums. Our scholars reflect on their achievements: https://cfkafrica.org/a-historic-first-lux-sit-and-jim-rogers-scholars-earn-record-kcse-results/
Our #BestSchoolsInitiative is gearing up for a successful school year! We kicked things off with a strategy session by our Teaching at the Right Level Africa (TaRL) Master Trainers, focusing on coordination, reinforcing facilitation standards, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality training across the board. We’re setting the stage for even more impactful TaRL implementation in classrooms this year. Onward to a year of meaningful learning and measurable progress! #youthempowerment #education #BSI #CFKAfrica
We are #AlwaysLearning. In partnership with Save the Children Kenya, we conducted a comprehensive refresher training for Community Health Promoters in Makadara sub-counties on #Maternal, #Newborn, and #ChildHealth. The training enhances their knowledge and skills in delivering essential MNCH services and equips them with updated tools and techniques. We remain committed to strengthening community health systems and ensuring improved #health outcomes for mothers and children. #CFKAfrica
