A Clockwork Spiral is currently going on with all sorts of steam punk inspired goodness available by various designers. The proceeds of this event go to and benefit the National Kidney Foundation. Not only does this event host a plethora of designers, but the money goes to a great cause.

It is that time of year again, and I was so overwhelmed in enjoyment for the stuff that I have seen so far as well as clawing my way from that nether verse known as real life that it took a moment to catch my breath. However, I have found my way to other side, and I must say that I always enjoy the variety that this event has to offer. I was inspired to jump onto my airship after ‘Talk like a Pirate’ day came and went recently, so .. “Yar!”

So the journey begins as the I Regret Nothing Airship takes off into the skies.. next stop, land of cogs ho!

Soon enough, I come to one of my favorite places, which is the sim known as the Forgotten City. I had covered this in another blog entry, and it really a great place to just explore, especially if you love automatons and such themes. So I make a landing and find my way over to find a ship that needs my tinkering skills, and I am not disappointed to find a bit of work on deck.

Every mechanic deserves good nails, and the good thing is that does not really chip? How? That is my secret!

I almost forgot this fabulous set of ruby heels! Dorothy would even like these, I think.

Where in the ..

World have I been? I have done these posts before, but this is an official dusting off with the blog with my plan to blog for an event coming up soon as I was accepted as well finally returning to covering things I buy and enjoy. I still keep up on events, but real life has kicked my ass lately for being busy with moving a lot with job stuff at one point and health issues too. With more time on the horizon, even with work starting again after the summer again, it is time to get back into enjoy SL!

Falling for you – World Goth Fair goodness

May brings the World Goth Fair (May 15 – June 1) around once more for all the ‘goth-y’ goodness that dark hearts can desire. Even those with a lighter outlook on the world can find something to enjoy at this year’s event with a variety of products from designers. Proceeds from this event benefit The Sophie Lancaster Foundation (SLF). I have the pleasure of being a blogger for this year’s event brought to you by the fine team over at Cursed. The variety of goods available has me spiraling about as if in a dream…

Not only does the event showcase designers and their creations, but there has been dancing to music provided by great DJs as well as a show by a wonderful live performer.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jorda n Reyne, known as JordanReyne Deezul in Second Life. She played a wonderful mix of dark/celtic folk music, and her voice was both haunting and unique mixed with the music.

I had a whole slew of plans for more posts, but the tasks of real life are keeping me busy for now. However, I did take time to reflect on the last year, and what I want to do with in 2014. Part of that includes more posts on things, events, and other things that I enjoy within Second Life, as well as steadily improving my pictures and posts as well. I did get some time to get dressed up and hang out with friends today.

The elegant gown that I am wearing is a gift from the subscriber at Enfant Terrible, the rebranded label from the store formerly known as Gspot.
