finally february

It's April and I am just a little behind...So here are some highlights from February.

Dan took Cam on a date. They went to the high school's production of Fiddler on the Roof. Cam was so excited, I wasn't sure if she would handle it!

All dressed up and ready to go.
I think its safe to say they were the only ones that had on dress clothes at the play, but Camdyn insisted:)

She picked out Dan's clothes and then did his hair. It was pretty precious:)
I love the concentration on her face in these pictures.

There was a character in the play that had a funny laugh. Apparently Cam thought it was annoying. She told Daniel, "if i was bigger I would go up there and shut his mouth!"

Dan said she never sat down, she danced in the isle the whole time:)
they had to come home just a little after intermission because in Cam's own words, she was just "pooped"!

Not really sure why I took this picture. Maybe because I get to wake up to all these happy faces every morning!

Lonnie the Leprchaun comes to the cousin's house every year. He makes a big mess, but leaves a fun present for the kids. For the past couple of years we keep thinking he will come to our house too...but he must be forgetful! (bad mom warning!!!)
Luckily the girls didn't care once they saw breakfast:)
Green German Pancakes with green milk, a perfect way to start off St. Patty's!

Disneyland

Time is flying by. I feel like I just barely did my Christmas post and now it is already March! So much to catch up on. So why not start with Disneyland?!

We took the girls in February. It seems like every time we plan a trip to Disneyland it seems like such a long drive, too expensive and stressful. But Disneyland NEVER disappoints. Especially when you have two and four year old girls!:) It's always worth it!

Of course I took a million pictures, so in no particular order....

meeting Ariel

Pluto really, really liked Layne.
In fact he wouldn't let her go! Just kept on squeezing:)

Captain Hook has no manners:)
He dropped Cam's pen on the ground after he signed her book and he absolutely did not allow hugs!

meeting Bell

The Tinker Bell fairies

Cam with Jasmine and Aladdin, so exciting!

Layne was a little nervous to meet them.
Luckily daddy has a thing for Jasmine. He was more than happy to bring Layne up there.

Autotopia!!!
Easily Layne's favorite ride. She got to drive a car all by herself what's not to love.
and riding in a car with Layne driving is just what you think it would be like. I almost wet my pants!

Toon Town Roller coaster with Grandma(I forgot to say that Grandma came with us. It was like having our own Disneyland tour guide and a personal babysitter for Layne:)

A little nervous before the ride, But she loved it!

**MINNIE MOUSE**

This should have it's own post. Meeting Minnie was the reason Layne was at Disneyland! She was sooo excited.

Cam and Layne with Minnie.

inside Minnie's house. A little surreal for Layne

Flying with Dumbo

************
These are my three favorite pictures from the trip.

What is it about the tea cups that is so great?

Loving every second of it:)

Waiting in line, but happy, because your at Disneyland!

Didn't budge!

The little Mermaid ride is new since we had been there. It is so cute. Once we got off we had to get back in line to ride it again. Definitely a favorite

Layne on the Toy Story ride. My personal favorite:)

Cam ready for the Bug's Life movie. It ended up being super-duper scary:).

Grandma loves Disneyland

We told the girls they could pick out something to bring home on our last day.
They did really good waiting and not begging for everything they saw.
So the last day we did build a bear.
They loved it and Grandma loved it almost as much as the girls.

Christmas

I am finally getting around to blogging Christmas. We had a great one this year. The girls are so fun and thought everything they got was GREAT.

Of course these pictures are not in order (sometimes blogger drives me crazy!!)

***Christmas Morning***
Layne inside the princess tent that Santa brought.

Opening their "vet" set.

I took this while they were waiting in our room.
Daniel had to go out and make sure Santa came. They were bursting with excitement!

***Christmas Eve***

Camdyn setting out her stocking

I caught Layne drinking Santa's milk! sneaky little thing

Cookies for Santa!

Before Christmas we went on the river walk in Springerville. They had it all decoroated for Christmas. It was absolutely freezing, but the girls loved it!

the girls after they decorated the tree.

one night while Amanda and Jordin were in town they came over and decorated gingerbread men. They had so much fun and Jordin was so excited, as you can tell:)
