Here are all of our pictures from our busy Christmas trip. We went to Eagar and had so much fun. We were all spoiled and had a great time with everyone.

So Sweet
Lately I have really been loving listening to Daniel's conversations with Camdyn. He talks to her like she is listening and she can talk right back. Usually after dinner he takes her upstairs and gets her in her pj's and ready for bed while I finish cleaning the kitchen. He talks to her and plays with her and I love to hear them giggle together. A couple of weeks ago I heard him tell Camdyn she could live with us until she was 35! But that if she wasn't out by 40 he might have to make her leave by then. :)
One night we were lying in bed and Camdyn had been asleep for a little while, he kept asking me if he could go get her and let her sleep with us for the night. I of course said "no way" she was sleeping so good why go wake her up! He was quiet for a minute and then he said "maybe she can for my birthday". I thought it was so funny and cute that he would ask that. What a good daddy

Laundry day is a hard day for Camdyn, because I have to leave her upstairs when I get the laundry because I can't carry her and the laundry basket up the stairs. So she stands at the top of the stairs crying for me until she can see me coming up.
I took these pictures because I think it is so funny how pitiful she gets screaming for me.

What a Night
Tonight was Daniel's company Christmas party, we went to a fancy shmancy restaurant, ate the best steaks ever and had so much fun! It was also the first time we really ever left Camdyn for a long time. But luckily she got to stay with Linde and her kids so I am sure she was never bored and had so much fun! When we picked her up she was sound asleep in Linde's bed!

Amanda & Kevin save the day!
I am a little late with this post, but I wanted to tell Amanda and Kevin thanks for all their help! We had a housewarming party on friday and they came and totally whipped us in to shape! They hung things on the walls, cleaned, Amanda even got Camdyn down for a nap!
The party was so much fun. Here are a few pictures I snapped

Home of the Brave
Today I had a "feel good" experience. While I was running my errands I walked by a little old man outside Starbucks reading his paper and enjoying a cup of coffee. When I walked by I noticed his hat said WWII Veteran. I thought to myself how thankful I was for him and others like him who have served our country. In my mind I thought "maybe I should say something to him". But I of course kept walking, because that is so not like me to just strike up conversation. When I was walking back to my car I saw that he was still sitting there and I couldn't shake the feeling that I needed to say something. So even thought I was dying, I walked over to him and told him I wanted to thank him for his service. He couldn't hear me so I had to get really close and I repeated myself. He couldn't even say anything, after a minute all he got out was "thank you".
As I walked back to my car I noticed that he was trying to get back to his paper but he had the biggest smile on his face. As I backed out he waved goodbye with a big smile.
I'm so glad I actually said something, because I am truly grateful for what he did. I hope from now on I will be brave enough to make an effort with every Veteran I see. They all did something I could never do, but I will always be grateful for.

she's trying
This is Camdyn trying to take a few steps. She can take about 5 and then she falls over. But every time she tries she does better so I bet it won't be long until she is gone! So exciting!

the bee charmer
This is my dad taking care of his bee problem. He just built this new shed over the summer and a colony of bees decided to make there home there. They have chased him into the house a few times and won't let him finish his work. He has been totally consumed by the problem but finally found a way to get rid of them...freeze them! He used this fire extinguisher to take care of them for good. My mom and I thought it was kind of sad, But here it is anyway.

My Sister...My Friend
I know this post is a little late but it is still officially Markee's birthday and I wanted to wish her a happy birthday! I love having her as my baby sister...I always have. She is so much fun and we always had a blast in High School, mostly because she is so adventerous and crazy, and I love that about her. I can't believe she isn't a teenager anymore and she's a STONER ;) Happy birthday sis!

Where did he come from?
Let me first start by saying my brother Race is Hilarious...and very smart! He sent this text to his friend Kevin tonight I thought it was so funny (even thought I didn't understand most of it). I thought I would blog it mostly so the sisters can get a good laugh at Race. So here it is...
Hark! Hark! Hark dear Kevin and lend thine ear!
Thou a fair minstrel of the rouge, me a noble gentry of the squire I bid thee listen.
This eve which fast closes upon us is a night of singularly different circumstances than the darken times of day, which have previously crossed our blissfully ignorant path of adolescence.
This night is a night separated from the Sabbath of our Lord by only one setting of the sun.
Pray tell what shall a minstrel as you and a gentry as I do on an evening of the fort but without the distasteful promise of a morning full of learning, tyrants, and mindless hall wandering proletariat?
I say to you brave master of the lute, we shall sally and rally forth unto the darkness armed with mirth in our souls and mischief on our brains.
This evening of off kilter seasons, moons and tide is lying at our door with a pleading groan of ravishment.
Come to me this mistress of merriment moans in the moon light.
Come to me and partake of the promised fruit that ye are granted through tradition and lack of years.
So I plead unto thine ear once more, what shall we do on an evening like this?
Translation: It is not a school night do you want to hang out?
**What high school kid can write like that?**

Please Don't Put Me Down!
This is Camdyn's newest thing. When she doesn't want to be put down she runs backwards.

Wiggle Bug
Camdyn is my wiggle bug. She very rarely is sitting still. It's like it almost hurts her to sit long enough to eat or be changed. But tonight Uncle Race worked his magic. He read a Christmas book to her and she sat on his lap and enjoyed every second of it. I thought it was so cute so I took this picture of her all snuggled in.

Gotta Love Eagar Because...
- I left the house a few times today and never once thought about locking the door.
- Everyone waves when they drive by (even when they don't know me)
- The neighbor's dog poops in our yard and our dog poops at the neighbors.
- I raked leaves for an hour and didn't get the yard done.
- Its been raining.
- Grandpa Sherwood lives here
- Camdyn has eaten more candy this week then she has her entire life
- no matter how hard I try Camdyn is filthy at the end of the day (she plays hard)

Shopping in Show-Low
Today I went to Show-Low with my mom and Aunt Tonna to do some shopping and go to the Christmas Boutique. It is so much fun to go shopping with them (better than all by myself). The boutique was a bust but we had fun anyway. I did get this cute little snowman at a cute craft store in Pinetop. I just love him. I can't wait to go home and decorate for Christmas!

adventures at Grandma's
We have been having fun and taking it easy here at Grandma's. Every night Camdyn falls asleep so easily because she is so worn out from all the playing. We went and saw Grammie and Grandma Nicoll last night before bedtime and when we came home she crashed.

The top picture is of Camdyn and Uncle Chantz watching Sports
Center before he had to go to school. The bottom one is what I pulled out of her mouth yesterday, two dead bugs! YUCK!

Camdyn and I are in Eagar for the next week. we have had fun playing with the uncles and just hanging out. We found this wig in Uncle Race's room, I'm not sure why he has it and I don't think I want to know, but we put it on her anyway. She didn't like it very much but I thought it was funny. I thought she looked like a real Nicoll girl with all that long dark hair or Samara, the girl from the Ring.

So Excited
While I was cleaning up the kitchen after dinner Daniel took Camdyn upstairs to get ready for bed, jamies, new diaper and wind down time. But I came up and found her laughing and screaming at Duke and Dan. So much for trying to get her to calm down (I don't know why we try, she is crazy)

Update
I know I have completely fallen off the face of the blogging world but I am making a return. We are moved into our new house and I love it. The paint colors make it look so much more like a home. We got a new kitchen table (and it was a gonga). I will post pictures later I am using Linde's computer so I will have to do it later.

Cousins
Last night we had Kyron and Kason spend the night at our house. They stayed up late watching "Dirty Jobs", eating pringles and cookies. Duke was glad to have them stay, he slept with them all night. Camdyn was so happy to wake up and see them this morning. They are such good boys, they helped with Camdyn and helped me pack some stuff and unload it at the new house. Thanks guys!

Mary-Kate the terrible
If you haven't seen my sister's blog (Katie), then you gotta go to it and watch Mary-Kate sing her little heart out while she is eating dinner. I thought it was so hilarious I watched it a couple of times then decided to show Camdyn. I thought she would like it because she loves songs, but this was the outcome...big mistake!
She like the first song, but not the second one, she completely lost it. I had to take her out of the room to get her to calm down. I have shown it to her a couple more times and everytime she freaks!

not enough hours in the day
Lately I have been feeling like I can't keep up. Since we have bought the house things have been so crazy. There is so much to do, pick paint colors (with Linde's help I think I finally did it), clean, pack, keep up with Camdyn and some how stay sane through everything. Will it ever end?
Just thought I would send this little complaint out there, I know most of you who read this can feel my pain because you are all so busy. But I needed to vent!
