Last night Daniel told Camdyn to fold her arms for the blessing on the food and she just did it! We thought it was so funny. We have been helping her do it for months and last night she showed us she doesn't need our help.

Buddies

Just another funny picture of these two. Camdyn won't nap in her crib. She's a stinker I KNOW! At least she is napping! Duke snuggled right up to her and went to sleep himself. These two really are good buddies. They fight a lot too, but they love each other.

Just yesterday Camdyn started to sign so good. She can sign cheese when she wants it. She signs fish when she sees one, and she is starting to sign milk. I was just about to give up on signing, but she is really starting to catch on. She also will fold her arms for prayers. This is by far the cutest thing. (i will post a video). She discovered all of this yesterday! I am so proud of her.

Weekend in Provo

We went to Provo this weekend for Tori's graduation. We had so much fun. The graduation was really good. Elder L. Tom Perry was there and said a few words. We also got to see Jen and the kids, we have not seen them since Christmas!

Congratulations Tori! We are so proud of you.

Obviously I was bored today, and Camdyn was a willing participant.

Feeling Better

Camdyn is feeling much better today!:) I took her to the doctor yesterday and they were pretty concerned about her being dehydrated. They gave her a shot of Phenergan(sp?) to help her keep liquids down. She hadn't kept anything down for hours and hadn't had a wet diaper in 24 hours. she lost over 2.5 lbs! They wanted me to take her to the ER for an IV, if she wasn't keeping anything down. When Daniel got home from work he and Kevin gave her a blessing and from then on she didn't throw up again. I am so glad she is feeling better and back to her old self!




This was Sunday morning. she crawled into bed with Daniel and fell asleep.

Having her first cracker after being so sick



This is today, obviously she is feeling better! She is in love with these sunglasses. she wears them all the time and she always has this look on her face.

When I was about 14 I remember sitting in the chapel, waiting for church to start. Right when somebody stood up to get the meeting started Chantz leaned over and puked all over my feet! I immediately kicked my shoes off and ran to the bathroom leaving my mom with a puking kid and vomit to clean up! All I can say is "sorry mom"! But similar thing happened today.

Right at the beginning of Church Camdyn had a really bad poopy diaper. That should have been a sign, she had 5 bad diapers before we even went to church. Daniel took her out to change her and when he came back in she was sound asleep. We laid her down on the bench in between us. She had been asleep for most of the meeting when she started puking everywhere! (not spit up. real vomit. YUCK!) I grabbed her and ran out of the chapel. Leaving Daniel to clean it up! haha. By the time I got down the hall to the bathroom both of us were COVERED! She had it in her hair, eyes and ears! (on my new sweater, Thank you very much Camdyn!)

So needless to say I am home with her now and Daniel was left to clean up! This is the first time she has ever been sick like this. I hate it. She has thrown up 3 times just since we have been home. Poor little thing.

projects

I very rarely am 100% satisfied with any project that I do. And this one is no different (the curtain is too short). Probably because I have no real idea how to use a sewing machine! I do think it turned out cute. This is Camdyn's toy closet underneath the stairs. I turned it into "Camdyn's Club". I found this cute fabric at Joann's and just sewed on the lace trim. It's very girlie and I probably like it more than Camdyn does. Oh Well! Last night Daniel helped me assemble it and hang it. Now all I have to do is buy hooks for tie backs and it will be DONE!

Photo Shoot

I just took Cam for her one year photos. We didn't get very many to choose from because she wouldn't hold still. But I think these turned out ok. They gave me an 8x10 for free, and I didn't order any others. What one do you like?

Today is Rylee and Kason's birthday and yesterday was Harlee's. What a busy couple of days!


Happy Birthday Ry. I love that you are my sister! Favorite memory of you is driving around in the old ford. You took me everywhere with you!


Kason I can't believe you are 8! My favorite thing about you is the way you eat Famous Dave's Ribs! You enjoy every bite! Happy Birthday dude!

Grammie got Camdyn this dress when they were here for her birthday. it is frilly and puffy and she loves it. I had to put this picture on here because she is clean and cute and ready for church. I love that!

I have a feeling I will hear this a lot in my house for the next few years. Camdyn is a fearless child and I wonder where she gets it? Daniel puts her down the BIG slides at the park, and now she thinks she can do it by herself! This is the latest...

Sunday evening Amanda and Kevin came over. We grilled steaks and just hung out. Camdyn welcomed herself to my steak. She grabbed it off my plate and started chewing on it. I have to say that is all Nicoll, the girl loves meat!

Camdyn rode most of the way on Daniel's shoulders, but towards the end she was determined to walk, it didn't go to well. As soon as she stood up she would fall again. She split her toe nail and almost ripped it off!

Red Rock Canyon

In between conference session we drove up to Red Rock Canyon. We took a short hike to a waterfall and stream. I was surprised how pretty it was there...not bad for Vegas.

The Office

We are big fans of the office, and apparently so is Camdyn. She does this everytime the music starts. She LOVES it! Can't wait for it to start next week.

she also has just started signing "more". That only took 2 months!
