Have you ever had to clean poop out of a bellybutton? I can now say that I have. Love ya Layne! Don't worry I won't go into details.

First Time at Church

Sunday was the first time we all went to church together. We got both girls ready and out the door by 8:45 I was pretty proud of us!:) Cam is going to nursery by herself and she is doing really good. Layne slept the whole time and never made a noise!

Good Day

We had a good day today. Did some fun things and got a lot done around the house.
  • We went to the Library for Storytime and checked out some books and the movie Ratatouille ( I haven't watched the whole thing but it is pretty funny).
  • gave Layne 2 baths and 4 different outfits, the girl can spit up!
  • played outside with the hose.
  • shampooed carpets
  • cleaned toy closet
  • organized baby clothes
  • managed to get a nap, while Cam was sleeping of course.

First Photo Shoot

We had Heather come take some pictures of Layne. I absolutely love the way they came out! Here are a few.

Don't you just want to eat her up?

We are trying to get back to normal around here. Markee left today after staying the week with me. It was really nice to have her here. She did all my laundry, cleaned up after every meal and kept Camdyn entertained! I was sad to see her and Nash go. We had a lot of fun while she was here.
We...
Made sugar cookies with the Hadlocks

and let the kids hang out.
(Peyton and Layne, only 3 months apart)

Another fun thing this week was a package from Vermont. Aunt Diane and Uncle Jim sent us so many goodies in the mail. Homemade fudge, a beautiful hand made Afgan and these....

every Sesame Street character you can think of! And of course Cam LOVES them!
Thanks so much!

a few pictures

Here are a few pictures from our Easter weekend. We went to Rylee and Reece's for Peyton's blessing. Our whole family was there, except for Eric who is at boot camp. It was fun for everyone to be together, especially because it will be a while until we get to do it again since Race will be leaving soon!

My sister, My friend

She is six days old today and doing great! I feel much better this time around, so it is a lot easier to enjoy everything.
She is eating good and has already put on weight.
Cam is really good with her, she wants to share all of her toys with her and hold her all of the time.
She is very calm and only fusses when she needs something to eat.
we already love her and can't imagine life with out her(funny how that happens).

one more thing

I am getting everything off my memory card so I am ready for tomorrow. So here is a video of Camdyn on her birthday.

Just a few things before life gets crazy!

Sunday night Camdyn slept all the way through the night in her OWN bed! She hasn't done it since, the little stink! But it was still very exciting!
This was after I told her she could have a treat for sleeping in her bed.
She asked if we could go to Target!

This is what we woke up to Monday morning! Daniel left his truck parked at the grocery store parking lot overnight( obviously not a good idea!) Some one had thrown a rock right through the window. They made a mess of the truck, not that it need any help in that department;). They got into the tool box, but didn't take anything. Just left us with a window to replace. My mom used to tell us when we were growing up,
"if it's not yours don't touch it!"
obviously this person didn't have a mom like mine.
