2010 Wrap up

I hate to say that I am glad to see 2010 go...but I am.
It has been a rocky year for us with a lot of ups and downs.
I am very grateful for the challenges we faced this year because we have come through them with smiles on our faces!
We relied on each other, on prayer, on tithing, and our Heavenly Father.
It has definitely been a year we won't forget and even though I am glad to see it go I am thankful for it.
With that being said, bring on the new year.

these are pictures that are still on my camera that I need to blog.
I am ready to start fresh in 2011!

Camdyn changing her "baby alive" diaper.
Yes it really poops, and I was not about to change it for her. After this one diaper she decided we would start to potty train her.
(This might be my favorite picture of the year)

Camdyn named the new baby dolls, Flower Pie and Apple Pie. I think they are great:)

Layne riding the new pony dad got her on Christmas morning.

so happy to have a baby that poops!

These are from the ward Christmas party.
The poor sucker who agreed to be Santa!
Layne hated every second!

Camdyn wasn't so sure that he was the real santa...I can't blame her!

Our anniversary is Dec 19th, It can sometimes get overlooked with all the Christmas things going on. Dan had to work on our anniversary, but we did get to go to Neon Moon in Greer. It was so yummy and fun to be together, just us!!

Christmas 2010

Last year we had a quiet Christmas in Las Vegas. It was our first time not going 'home' for Christmas. This year was completely different. We live at 'home', which means we double the fun, parties, cousins, food....you get the idea. It was so fun to be with everyone and then go to our own home! We got a little bit of everything!

***here come the pictures***
completely out of order. i hate that.

we are sooo excited....

We are ready for Christmas!
Our house is decorated, our shopping is done and we take a link off of our Christmas Countdown Chain everyday!

Camdyn wants a baby doll that poops!
Layne wants a baby with a sippy cup(or at least that's what Cam tells her).

Decorating our tree

Camdyn's ornament from Grandma. She is in love!

just a little excited

Layne's ornament..she doesn't care. I had to hang it high so she doesn't break it :)

We went to see the nativity at the town hall. Cam thought it was great she was in awe of baby Jesus, she knelt down in front of him and just stared.

Today in the car Camdyn said:

"Mom I would really like to take violin lessons, piano lessons and...YoYo lessons. I would love to learn how to YoYo."

And that is why her life rocks, because her biggest desire is to learn to YoYo!

She's trying...

Layne is turning into such a big girl.
Yesterday she went potty 4 times. And so far this morning she has kept her diaper dry!
after she goes she is soooo proud of herself so we have been having a lot of potty parties.

We took her to DQ last night for a treat after she went!

I let her wear panties while we are home...under constant supervision. she has had a few disastrous accidents, but I guess that is part of all of it.

It makes me sad that she is getting so big!

#10

(so do my eyes look really close together and cheeks look really big? I am just saying!)

Saturday night we played Payson. All of the boys played really good and we won. It was fun to watch and it was Chantz's last game in the dome! Crazy he is a senior...I thought I just graduated!

running the ball

Talking to a reporter after the game.

My parents always say "we are not raising a football player".
Chantz's is the sweetest little brother in the world. No joke!(sorry Race).
He basically is my dad just 35 years younger. He never gets mad and is so calm and easy going.
Football will be over in a couple of weeks
I guess what I am trying to say is Quarterback or not I think he is awesome.
