Do I cry or do I laugh?

Being a mom is, hands down the hardest/ most rewarding job ever.
Some times I feel like crying...but it is a lot easier to laugh!

Example #1.

Last week I was busy in the kitchen trying to get somethings done and I didn't have much time. The girls were playing and keeping themselves entertained. Perfect! Just what I needed!

Then I decided to check on them ...

Seriously I wanted to cry.
They had dumped out two garbage bags worth of packing peanuts!
Not an easy thing to clean from a laminate wood floor!

But do you see that face? That's when I decided to laugh.

Ex #2.
My Husband( I love him dearly) has a tendency to loose things. Really BIG things! Like mattresses out of the back of his truck(but that is a story for a different day).
THIS day it was our Christmas tree.
The girls and I waited at home anxiously for him to bring it home from storage. But when he got home...Oops, it was no where to be found!
We ended up picking it up in pieces off the highway!

At first I was mad, then I decided to take a picture just to document the murder of our Christmas tree.

this is the biggest piece we could find
Now that you see the picture do you understand? I might as well laugh...its pretty stinkin' funny!

Thanksgiving California Style

We had such a fun Thanksgiving this year.
We spent it with Tim and Tori in Huntington Beach, CA.
We drove there with Steve and Colleen and Nate, Jen & the kids met us there too!

We had all of these kids in one house! They all did so good and it was fun to see them play together.
this is the only picture I got with Mylin. She is such a sweet little thing. She reminds me a lot of my girls, because she is super busy. And pretty entertaining! Camdyn absolutely LOVED her

Ok! now for a ton of pictures....

The beaches were so beautiful! I think Cam was meant to be a California girl.;)

Layne was afraid of the waves, she needed her daddy!

Here she is staying far away from the big waves!

Cam and Dax(I think) wrestling.
Nate has already taught those boys how to wrestle, they are fun to watch.

Dan and the boys on the Ferris Wheel at Balboa Island.

Dan took this picture, it looks to me like they just wrestled, in the sand, in their underwear...ha ha!

Soooo pretty!

Cam and the twins waiting for pizza after playing on the beach.

On the ferry

Dax playing on the skateboard.

We thought this Pelican was pretty cool. He sat there forever and let us get pretty close.

This is the first day we went to the beach. I thought it would be way to cold to get in.
I was wrong! Cam got right in, clothes and all.
So she had to walk to the car in her sweatshirt and panties:)

Endless entertainment at the beach!

I love her just the way she is...even if that's White Trash on the beach!

This guy was so nice. He came out of the water with his board and gave Cam a mini surf lesson

All the kids:)

4 cute girls!
I remember when Shelbi and Harlee were my girl's size.
Where does time go?

Cousins make the best friends!

we were in the car a lot, but the girls did great.

we walked out to the end of the pier. It was so pretty!

Eating at Johnny Rockets. So Yummy and fun.

we also got to see Santa at the beach!
Cam saw him and went running to him.
A guy started taking her picture like crazy, he was a reporter from the newspaper and he was doing a story about this Santa. He put the picture of Cam and Santa in the Huntington Beach Independent!

We had so much fun and hope to go back and visit sometime SOON!

Texas Road Trip

A couple of weeks ago we drove to Texas for a surprise visit! It was such a fun trip, but how can you not have fun with the Stoners? Markee had no idea we were coming which made it so fun for us just to show up. We had Eric take her to the zoo and we surprised them there.

Here is Markee asking Camo what the heck she was doing in Texas!

the best picture of the trip.
good thing there was glass, Nash thought he was playing with a kitten!

The zoo was awesome. Well worth the 10 hour drive:)

Me and Mark. We lost to the boys bowling.

Classic!

Camo loved, loved, loved Charlee while we were there.
Luckily Charlee tolerated all the squeezing well.

being a flamingo

Feeding the giraffe was my favorite part of the zoo

We went bowling on the base and had the alley to ourselves. So much fun for the kids...and adults!

If you think bowling is boring, you have never been bowling with Nash S. Stoner! He was terrible(even with the bumpers) but he had the time of his life! He is such a happy boy!

Camdyn really enjoyed bowling. She had never been and she really got into it. Maybe a little Grandma Sherwood coming out in her.

Victory dancing!

Then base is so cool. Just like its own little world.
These big planes were the first thing we saw when we drove through the gates.

Loving Layne's pose in this one!

This a bomber like the one Eric works on.

Ok sorry more bowling pics!

cute cousins!

all the girls

Eric won...

We got a little bored on the way home, so...

we stuck our gum up our noses!
anything to make the time go by right?

The End!
