A basket boat is tethered on the Tungabhadra River near the magnificent ruins of Hampi, India. A Unique landscape that is dotted with large boulders on mounds and columns of ruins and temples as the river flows amongst them. The legendary Kishkakindha was the kingdom of the Vanara King Sugriva, the younger brother of Vali, whol ruled with the aid of Hanuman, in the great Indian Epic of Ramayana.  From a photo taken in Hampi, India in the fall of 2007.   © 2012
