A feisty Marathi senior citizen selling vegetables (onions and potatoes) in the Vashi market in Navi Mumbai.  She was all eager to be photographed during our encounter.  With her gold rimmed glasses that reflected light, Chandrakor bindi on her wrinkled forehead, her traditional and colorful sari and blouse and with her gold and black beads necklace – she was a pleasure to paint.  From a photo taken in Summer 2013.  © 2013
