She has a basket and newspaper handy for packing vegetables for her customers. Under her scale is a drawer to store cash in. She is seen wearing a cheerful colored sari and her ornaments include a Mangal sutra, earrings and green bangles. Vegetable vendors across India are like the salt of the earth.
