Boulders at Aguero

The tiny and attractive village of Aguero is situated at the foot of the colossal limestone boulders creating a visual contrast between the medieval-style architecture and the towering cliffs. Aguero is located in the Aragon region, a remote corner of northern Spain.  The rock formations rise more than 660 ft above the village, giving it a picturesque look. The 12th-century Santiago church is the main attraction in the village. The mountains of Los Mallos de Aguero, also known as the “Nine Needles”, are reddish brown-gray lumpy boulders. Over millions of years, erosion has sculpted the stone into vertical walls and needles. Three Palms at Samburu

Three Iconic Doum palm trees along the peaceful Eweso Ng’iro River dominate the Samburu National park in Kenya with distant mountains. These palm trees are known for their unique branching trunks. Their fruits and leaves are consumed by elephants, baboons, and other animals. Additionally, the tree’s thick leaves are used by the local Samburu people to create baskets, ropes, and other goods.
