I Get A Little Warm In My Heart When I Think Of Winter

It’s the last day of November, and for ME, winter officially starts on December 1st! I have to admit, I’m not much of a winter girly. I like warmer weather and sunshine. Now luckily, in my neck of the woods, it does stay pretty temperate in the winter up until January or February when we might have a big winter blast. But I will say, my favorite thing about winter are Christmas lights. I can’t wait to see so many lights!

But until then, I’ll just look for some cozy clothes and cozy blankets to wrap up in. I hope everyone had a lovely fall, and are ready for a magical winter!

I think creativity is such a remarkable thing. I always prided myself on being creative. But lately? I don’t feel it. I’m having a really hard time coming up with photo ideas. And it’s weird to me because, for a time, that was all I thought about. Even the years I was gone from SL, I thought in photos all the time. But I think since last summer, since all the crazy with my mom, my creativity said “We’ll be back some other time.” And it stinks, because I miss it! How do you get it back when yours is gone? Let me know!

But luckily, the lovely artists of Second Life keep their creativity going. And that’s great for me because it means SHOPPING!!

I Don’t Lose Sight Of What I Want

So here’s the thing. I get it. The minute Halloween is done, some of you run screaming into Christmas like that annoying elf from … well, the movie Elf. But I’m not that kind of girl! See, where I live, “fall” doesn’t really start until Halloween. That’s almost always the first *real* cool night we have. So for me, it’s finally NOT summer. I need more time to enjoy fall!!
