In my part of the world, fall is more of a vibe than a weather thing. I can drink all the PSLs I want. It doesn’t change the fact that it might be 100 degrees still. But we were lucky enough where the vibes AND the weather have been very fall like the past couple of days. And it really does make me feel like walking around outside.

Of course, in my SL, my whole sim is basically year-round fall. Because why not? My world, my imagination, right? 😂

I’ve Got To Break Free

I’m still very much trying to get used to my new body. I know for some people, it’s not a huge deal to switch often, but I generally don’t change my look much. And truthfully, I haven’t done THAT much different. But I feel like I’m wildly curvy. And to be honest? A lot of the problems I’m having getting used to this body stems from my RL insecurities and past with eating disorders. But I think it’s good that I’m aware. Plus, like I said, I don’t look that much different to anyone except myself. I’m still relatively small in SL. And I guess a little extra booty never hurt anyone. 🤣

So my friend Gogo doesn’t like it when people just do lyrics and a photo for their blog, but I’m basically just doing that today. Sorry, Gogo! I don’t have a ton to say and this month has been 17 years long, so I’m not exactly chatty. I was listening to this song last night from my early 2000s playlist and this part kind of got to me because even though the song came out in 1999, it feels very current to 2025 for some reason.

Everyone keeps asking me “Did you finish your Christmas shopping yet??” And the answer is… No. Because my family hasn’t done Christmas gifts like that in years. Like with my mom and dad, we stopped really doing Christmas anything many many years ago. Any gifts I get now are usually just in an Amazon box. I don’t think I’ve actually unwrapped a gift in… I have no idea! But do you want to know a secret?

I am SO good at wrapping presents. Almost abnormally good at it. My gifts are CLEAN clean. You don’t see a ton of tape, everything is very precise. Do I have any reason to be this good at it? No. Is it a skill that serves me in my daily life? Absolutely not. But there you go.

Hey friends. Well. It’s…been a week, huh? I don’t ever really want to make my blog political, so I’ll just say this much. If you genuinely support what’s coming, this isn’t the place for you and I’m not the girl. I burn bridges. Ask anyone. 🙂

So fashion! 😂 Going on with my little “shop my closet” thing, I stumbled on these jeans from Tres Blah that I used to love love love back in 2019. They’re for the old Lara body, so naturally putting them on my Lara X body made the alphas go insane, and the waist doesn’t fit right anymore. But I still love them! And pairing them with the jacket from Sorumin that is out at Anthem right now worked perfectly! Success!

Don’t Hide Yourself In Regret

Happy Pride Month, y’all! I’ve been proud to be an ally since I was in high school and some of my friends felt comfortable coming out. I know it couldn’t have been easy for them. After all, we lived in a small Texas town and the possibility of not being accepted was pretty high. But they did it anyway. Surprisingly, no one seemed to care. I think for a lot of us, it just answered questions we had, like “Why doesn’t he like me?” Or for me, the question was usually “Why are we dating but he’s always more excited about going out with the guys?” 🤣

A few years ago, while chatting with people, the term “demisexual” came up. Demisexuals are people who don’t feel sexual attraction unless they’ve formed an emotional bond with someone. I laughed and said that was silly, everyone was like that, right? The response was “Oh. Oh, honey.” Well, heck. 😅 Upon researching it more, I checked a lot of the boxes and suddenly things made a LOT more sense. So, technically, since demisexuality is part of the asexuality spectrum, I guess I am also part of the rainbow, too.

But mostly, I’m going to be an ally. Because that’s what my buddies deserve.

Do you remember when you’re in high school and you would spend lazy afternoons with friends just eating snacks and listening to music? I think we need to do that more as adults. The world is so much sometimes. So overstimulating, so harsh. We need more lazy afternoons, more snacks, and more good songs.
