Many many years ago, I used to host an annual “New Year’s Eve Eve” party in SL. I started in 2009 and kept it going until 2017. It was always a lot of fun. I don’t have ANY plans of hosting a party any time soon, but I do miss them on occasion. It was always so fun to get all dressed up and see people that I may not have seen since the last one. I don’t really get dressed up and go to parties anymore. Not that I couldn’t. I just… don’t. Maybe that will be one of the things I do in the upcoming year.
This year was a terrible year for me in so many ways, but I think I will definitely take some good from it, too. I came back to SL. I restarted my blog. I started truly working on my mental health. My mom is finally in a place where she is cared for and I don’t have to worry so hard. They’re not huge things in the grand scheme of life, but they are huge for me. And maybe in the upcoming year, I can add more to that and find my way back to even more things that I have loved, like doing YouTube videos for myself and streaming more on Twitch. I don’t really do resolutions. I have aspirations.
