Clayton's Hunt

Clayton was drawn for Elk this year and brought this home. He is huge and I don't expect to run out of meat anytime soon! I just cooked my first elk pot roast and it was delicious!

Where did November go?

Thanksgiving was so fun this year! We had a great dinner that was hard to stop eating! I was in charge of the sweet potatoes, peach pie and coconut cream pie this year. I was so glad that all of them turned out so delicious!

Air show in Vegas this year. I never get tired of going to the Thunderbird Air Show! It amazes me that my grandpa used to fly airplanes like that! He is so talented I can't believe it.

Here we are next to one of the Thunderbird airplanes.

October!

I know it has been forever since i updated our blog. October is my favorite month and has kept us very busy! We have spent time outside soaking up the wonderful weather, taken some trips out of town, and enjoyed the Halloween activities! It has been a great month and here are some pictures we have taken during it.

Penny and grandpa with the horses.

On our way to Utah for a quick trip.

Phase 1 of Clayton's pumpkin. He always shows the rest of us up with his free-handing skill.

We are getting ready for the pumpkin carving to start!

Here are just SOME of the finished pumpkins this year!

The whole gang and all of the pumpkins!

BYU vs. TCU Homecoming game

While the BYU game was going on, my Aunt Lisa threw another fun witches party. I didn't have my camera with me so I'll have to post more pictures later. Happy Halloween!

Camping

We were so lucky to get out of the heat and go camping a couple of weeks ago. The weather was so nice we even had to bring jackets! I hadn't been camping in forever so it was so much fun. All of my nephews were there and were thrilled they got to sleep in a tent! Penny and I also made friends with a chipmunk while we were at the lake. It was so funny but it would not leave us alone and kept coming and trying to eat our crackers. Overall it was a great weekend!

Oh Koston!

This is my sweet nephew Koston. Tonight he is having a sleepover with me & Clayton at our house in Gilbert. He is such a funny boy I am so glad he loves to spend time with us. Tonight he played X-Box with Clayton, told me he loved me a million times, said the sweetest prayer before bed, and gave me a surprise (which ended up being a kiss goodnight!) I am so glad I have such great sisters that have such adorable kids! I love being an aunt.

2 Years!

Last week Clayton and I had our 2 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast those years went by it's unreal. I have finally accepted that I am no longer a newlywed! I am so blessed to be married to Clayton for eternity. He is such a wonderful man and we have had so much fun the past couple of years! I am so excited many more to come. I love you babe!

No Doubt

On Saturday night I had a girls night out and went to the No Doubt concert. It was so much fun! Clayton and the other guys had fun without us, they raced their Slash cars without hearing us complain. Thanks girls for such a fun night out!

Welcome to the Caribbean!

Last week Clayton and I went on our first cruise with Matt and Celeste. It was such a fun way to spend our 2 year anniversary! We left from Florida and stopped in Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize, and Key West. I was so nervous that I was going to be so motion sick but I really enjoyed being on the cruise ship. We were all so impressed at how huge the ship was. It is so crazy! While on the ship we played bingo, card games, went to shows, ate, slept, got sunburned, ate some more, and even danced! I can't wait to go on another one!

Our first stop was Grand Cayman which was so amazing! It was such a clean beautiful island. We went to Stingray City and swam with the stingrays. We showed up and were the only boat of tourists at the sandbar so we had tons of action with the stingrays. They would seriously swim all over you hoping you would feed them. We had tons of fun with the stingrays and would love to do it again if I ever get the chance. Most of our pictures were taken with Matt & Celeste's water camera so I don't have the pictures yet. I will definitely post them when we get copies of them.

Grand Cayman had some beautiful homes on the way to Stingray City. Here is just one of them.

I loved that every time we left our room we would come back to our towels shaped like animals. I loved it; I guess I am easily impressed!

The pictures below are at our next stop Honduras. We had quite the adventure there. We started the day by renting scooters and driving up the coast. We stopped frequently to take pictures of the beautiful beaches and somewhere along the way lost our licenses, room cards for the cruise ship, cash, and credit cards. We still don't know what could have happened to the stuff but are lucky they let us on the ship with almost no problems. Besides that we had a great time on Honduras.

In Belize we went cave tubing for a couple of hours which was nice and relaxing. We saw plenty of fruit bats in the caves, and some really awesome jungles. All of the people in Belize were very friendly and welcoming and the scenery was unreal! Everything was so green and beautiful we didn't want to leave!
Key West was our last stop and am surprised how much fun it was! I have never been a big fan of Florida but Key West was awesome. It was cute and had some of the prettiest buildings. We walked around ate some Key Lime pie. We took a boat to the live coral to do some more snorkeling. The weather was overcast and the water was rough that day so it was hard for me to enjoy being out in the middle of the ocean but there was plenty to see. There were nurse sharks, barracudas, fish, and more stingrays. I am pretty freaked out by at least half of those that I just listed so I was happy to get back on the boat where I was safe!

Overall the cruise was amazing. I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to experience it and to see so many beautiful islands and cultures. I am so glad we also had such great friends to share the experience with. I can't believe Clayton & I have been married for 2 year. Time goes by so fast when you are having so much fun. I will post more pictures later when I get them.
