New York

Oh The Big Apple... It was so wonderful I don't even know where to begin. We started off my seeing the Museum of Natural History and a night view of the Empire state building. We ate lots of delicious Chinese food, burgers, hot dogs, and pizzas. We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, saw Ground Zero, walked down Wall Street and strolled around Times Square. We spent our next day shopping in SoHo and everywhere else and were lucky to do the Circle Line cruise around Manhattan island. It was so amazing. We visited the MOMA and the Metroplitan Museum and walked through Central Park. We saw the Top of the Rock and watched the ice skaters.

We loved spending Thanksgiving with the family and were so lucky Jared and Charity showed us a great time in New York. I was even able to meet up with one of my friends while in New York. We crammed as much as possible in our week and it was great. We saw all of the beautiful decorations in the freezing cold and watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

I heart New York but am glad I am back home in my nice warm house. I am thankful for all of my loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving!

Boston

Clayton and I spent the week before Thanksgiving in Boston and New York with his family. His parents went with us to visit Clayton's siblings that live back East. We started are week off in Boston and I absolutely fell in love with that city. The buildings had so much character I could have walked around all day long to sight see. It was so beautiful there we were sad to leave.

Gilbert, AZ Temple ground-breaking

Clayton and I were able to go to the temple ground-breaking ceremony. We are so excited for the new temple to be built so close to our house.

This year, Clayton and I were Alice and the Mad Hatter for Halloween. It was so fun making our costumes together and I thought they turned out great! We had a really fun weekend hanging out with friends and family. Here is our second annual DVD cover for our costumes. I will post more more pictures later.

Clayton's 10 yr reunion

The boys from high school

Clayton and getting ready to toast. We were pleasantly surprised the had Martinelli's for our small group that requested it.

Clayton and Dave's bromance picture!

The whole gang at dinner before the reunion. The food was delicious.

This weekend we had Clayton's high school reunion. We had dinner beforehand with his close group of friends from San Diego which was really nice. I am so glad his friends decided to plan something where we could sit and visit with each other. Since I haven't been to my reunion yet I wasn't sure what to expect. It was fun meeting lots of people that knew Clayton in high school and funny to hear all of their stories they had. We were especially glad Dave and Julie decided to go. We love hanging out with them and are so glad we have them as friends. It was a fun night and really made me excited for mine to come in a couple of years.

Lakeside

This past weekend Clayton and I were lucky to have a nice weekend trip to the mountains with his side of the family. We stayed at a beautiful cabin in Lakeside and enjoyed the cool weather. The boys played golf and the girls went hiking and antique shopping. It was a weekend full of good food and great company. On Friday evening, Clayton took me horse back riding and we had so much fun! It has been years since I have been on a horse but it was just like riding a bike. We went up through the mountains and had some incredible scenery. We left the cabin on Saturday night and went straight to the opening night of the Greek restaurant Athena in Scottsdale. The food was so delicious and the crowd was so fun. I love the energy Greeks have!

Clayton and I getting ready to enjoy our delicious dessert.

Me and Clayton riding horses. I wish me had more pictures of the weekend but we kept forgetting to take them. It really was such a fun weekend with the family!

Date night

Last night I had date night. A date night with my sister Chelsey and Lady GaGa. We decided last minute that it was silly we weren't at the concert since we had both been singing "Bad Romance" all day long. Problem solved thanks to our scalper friend we made outside the arena. It definitely turned into an exciting night. She sounded great and her wardrobe did NOT disappoint. I knew it was going to be awesomely weird but I was not prepared for how strange it actually was. Thanks for being spontaneous with me Chels! My only regret is forgetting my camera.

This one of the outfits she wore during the concert. I don't know how she moved in it!

Wedding Fun

I love weddings and a couple of weeks ago we had the chance to go to 2! The weather in Utah was absolutely perfect. Asher and Hayley's wedding was on Friday and was so beautiful. Then, on Saturday we had Brenna and Eli's wedding. It was so much fun spending time with family and friends. I didn't have my camera most of the time but we were able to get some good pictures. We also had the chance to stay with Kristen and Garrett for a night and finally meet little Wesley. He is seriously so adorable I love him to pieces.
