A friend picked up this child’s chair at the Bantry market and the seat was damaged so I wove it with sea grass. I love working with natural materials like this!

Don’t be left out! The Adjustable is a custom ring made to fit easily on your finger when you have enlarged knuckles. I have made several of this type of ring, each one unique in design but with the same function. It has to be comfortable to wear and adjustable.
When a body changes from the effects of surgery, arthritis, accident or enlarging of the knuckles or any other reason it is not easy to find jewelry. If a finger doesn’t conform to standards (and lets be honest…who would want to anyway?) a ring is either too loose or tight. People struggle to find the right fit. How many times did you try something on to find that you couldn’t get it off?
A solution to this is a ring that fits comfortably and can be taken on and off with ease, no matter what shape of finger. All the customers who have bought an adjustable ring are delighted with the result. It is open on one side so that you can adjust the fit. Try it and see!
I just made a batch of hand salve. My neighbor has a huge amount of marigolds in her organic garden this year. She allowed me to pick some flowers. With a friend, we separated the petals. Afterward, we made an infusion from this with organic oil.
In July I got a GREAT gift of beeswax from another friend. This years bees wax from her organic vegetable farm looks like a river of gold. The organic lavender essential oil was added to line the small pots at the end. DIVINE GOODNESS!
It kind of smells like bubble gum.
The India Fund was intiated by a friend in my community. One necklace from Cloud Jewellery, Blue Agate and Moonstone Necklace, was offered this week in a raffle to raise money for a family in India that wishes to start their own small business. It is a pleasure support others in their goal to be self employed.

Last in the Fire series… there is a flame within this seemingly tiny setting. It is a sterling silver coil shape and set with a blue-green tourmaline wand. sold.
If you check some Pages you will notice I updated them with photos. I will also add images of my other three dimensional designs from time to time. I find a lot of inspiration from Irish megalithic stone monuments, ancient settlements and construction so you will see photos of these too.
This month I celebrate the three years anniversary of Cloud Jewellery Blog and eight years since I started making jewellery.
It has been a shockingly wonderful experience! I started it because people far away wanted to see what I was creating. Since everything I make sells so quickly, it was impossible to show them without a good digital camera and a caring friend to walk me through the process of opening a blog.

I absolutely love creating jewellery, from finding the materials to forging the metal to finishing the work. Since I first started this, my life has changed dramatically. I have been without a camera since last summer, moved across the world twice, made a lot of wire wraps and beaded necklaces, thanks to Heidi ….and I am still dedicated to creating art, still being inspired by nature, still selling work.
