Pink Baby

When my aunt Net and mom flew out to Virgina when Lilly was born, one of the gifts that Net brought for Lilly was a pink baby.
Lilly always has to have her "pink baby" with her. Over the years "pink baby" has gotten dyed purple, (oops on Clint's part) has been written on, has been left outside, has been washed a million times and sadly has had to have her feet repaired. My mother -in -law even bought a replacement baby for Lilly, but Lilly only wants Her "pink baby."

Good Reads

For Christmas Clint gave me the book "The Hunger Games" by Susanne Collins. It is a good read, however if you are like Clint and hate to wait for books that are in a series, don't read "The Hunger Games" until the next book comes out in Sept of 2009.
I also finished the 6th and last book in "The Great and Terrible" series by Chris Stewart. Big sigh....... I have been trying to drag out his books as long as I could. I didn't want them to end. I would highly recommend these books.

Christmas Day

Christmas Morning at 9:00am

Christmas Morning at 12:32 am.
Trenton and Deacon would not stop crying. We had put them to bed as soon has we got home from Grandma's house at around 10:ish. They feel asleep for a little while (maybe 40 minutes) But woke up screaming, we tried to comfort them but nothing seemed to work, So we put them in the tub and they settled right down. That is when I noticed that Trenton had blotchy red spots on his arms and legs. My mom gives the grand kids pj's on Christmas Eve. I don't know if the pj's caused Trenton to break out in a rash or what. I am just very glad Clint was home to help out, I would be crying and screaming along with the boys.
Christmas Eve 2008
Trenton feeling better (the drugs have kicked in)

Every other year we spend Christmas Eve at my Grandma G's house. All my mom's siblings come up and celebrate Christmas Eve.
We do the nativity story, Lilly got to be Mary and of course she added her own little twist of the Nativity story, by saying "Howdy Partner" when it was her time to walk out.
Trenton was not in the best of moods, he had a fever and you could just look at him and tell that he didn't feel good. Deacon was getting over being sick, but he was still very whinny. Lilly was very excited about the White Elephant gift game. We ended up going home with the white elephant gift that we brought with us.

Old Time Christmas Fun

Cole and Lilly

Trenton and Deacon

We went down to This is the Place for their Candlelight Christmas. It was lots of fun, and it was also super cold. My older sister and her kids came along and my younger sister came too!

Lights in the Park

Tonight we went to the Layton City Park to see their light display. The first time around we went on a hay ride. The second time we drove and saw the lights.
