Memorial Day

It has been a long two weeks without Clint.

We are so happy to have him home again.
Clint was working in D.C. for his two week commitment to the Reserves.

While he was on a vaca..oh I mean doing his two weeks in D.C..... he went to Gettysburg, Arlington, attended the D.C. Temple...twice, went to a Mets game, went to Busch Gardens for a day, saw the monuments around D.C. and went to the Smithsonian.

I may tease Clint about his 'vaca's' but we are truly grateful for his dedication to the Air Force. And for those fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives to give us the liberty's and freedom we have each and everyday.

5k Race

So the day before mother's day, My Grandma, Mom, Sister-in-law, two sisters and myself went down to SLC and walked in the Susan G Komen: Race for the Cure.

I could not believe how many people were there. I took this picture to show just how packed the race route was, but I don't think it does it justice.

FHE

I have been wanting for some time to take my kiddos pictures in front of a temple. So yesterday my family rode Front Runner down to the SLC Temple. Here is what I captured, my sweet sister took alot more pictures.

Yes that is candy in Deacon and Trentons mouths.

I hope that my family is not the only family where it takes forever to have the kids settle down for pictures. It is like pulling teeth just to get a few good shots of them. But overall I want my children to know how important the Temple is.
