Fishing with Papa

Papa said that he wanted to take the kids fishing. We drove up to North Ogden, had a picnic and then fished.....29 fishes later we called it good.

Trenton was the first one to a catch a fish and Hunter was the last one.

Trenton really liked fishing, as long has the fish was far away from him.

Lilly caught a few fishes and she even caught Deacon!!! Luckily the hook didn't lodge into his chin to deeply.

Liz holding her one fish that she caught!

We even caught these two little guys!

Camping

Clint has been wanting to take the kids camping. So we invited my sister and kids to come along. We drove to Beaver lake in about 2 hours. It started to rain before we got to our spot. (Clint has a spot that he and his dad would always go to, it is a very nice spot too.) Some of our sleeping gear got wet, but a few minutes in front of the fire dried them off.

All Lilly wanted to do was roast marshmallows.

Clint eating his fish that he caught. Yummy!

Lilly was bitten by a mosquito on her eye and check...this picture was taken the night we got back from camping.

And this picture was taken in the morning. Poor girl.
Overall it was a very excited camping trip!

Cherries

We have two large cherry trees in our backyard. Clint's dad and I have been picking cherries for a week now and we have a lot of cherries. It is a good thing I like cherries!

This tool is a cherry pitter. It takes forever to pit cherries with it.

This too is a cherry pitter and it takes only seconds to pit cherries!

Layton City parade

Lilly and Liz on Nova.
Jessica had her ponies and horses in the Layton Parade. Lilly of course, wanted to ride Nova in the parade.

Cinnamon challenge!

I'm stuck!

It was a fun filled weekend. We stayed up late, watched movies in the backyard, ate lots of cotton candy, played with our cousins, swam in the pool, played with fire, picked and ate cherries, and laughed a lot.
