Family pictures.
I love and dread family pictures.  In my mind I think that the photographer will automatically make each of my child smile nice and look at the camera and make me look 20lbs lighter, BUT that is never the case.

MOMMA I"M COMING HOME

On Friday the 25th we were scheduled to bring Ammon home.  Clinton was with Trenton at "Day out with Thomas the Train"  So I brought my mom along to help bring Ammon home.  We called in the morning and it was still a go for Ammon to come home.  My mom and I were in the washing room (this is a room you have to wash your hands and arms before going through the lock down doors)  when I got a call from Clint saying that they were NOT going to release him today.  What a disappointment!!!

But this smile made up for it!!!

They were keeping him longer, because during the night and morning he would stop breathing and they thought that he might have RSV.
On Saturday the 26th of May at 4:00pm.  We got a call from the Hospital saying that Ammon's tests were back and that He didn't have RSV, but that he had a cold and that we could come and take him home.  Basically they didn't want Ammon getting the other babies sick, so they said that they could put him in isolation or just send him home.....Well we chose to TAKE HIM HOME.  He did come home with oxygen and a monitor AND a cold, but we are so happy to have him home!  Even if he has his nights and days mixed up.

MOMMA I'm coming home.....one of the two songs I enjoy from Ozzy.

Ammon came into the world at 34 weeks.  He weighed 5 lbs 1 oz and was 18 and half inches long.
Lilly was some what disappointed to find out that he was a boy, she was really hoping and praying that Ammon would have been a girl.  I told her that Heavenly Father gave me one beautiful princess and three brave warriors.  Lilly still asks if we can adopt a girl.

Wednesday the 23rd of May will mark Ammons three week stay in the NICU.  Clint and I have been so fortune to go and see Ammon everyday.  (Thanks mom for watching our kids)

Ammon  is doing great, he just needs to be able to feed on his own.  We can not wait until Ammon can come home.

We are so grateful for Priesthood blessings and for the whisperings of the Holy Ghost.

April 2012

The highlight of April was taking a mini-vacation to Vernal.  The kiddos really like Dinosaurs and what better place then Vernal to see dinosaurs.  To be truthfully honest they enjoyed spending the night in a hotel the best.

Clint has been so diligently training for his Marathon which will take place next month.

Between Clint's work, reserves, training, school, church calling, taking care of his parents and our family, I am continually amazed at how he can find balance and peace.

Feburary 2012

WOW...I am still amazed at how fast February has flown by. Probably a huge part was due to Clint's 2 week absence. He was fulfilling his 2 week commitment for the Air Force in Germany.

His absence in our family was greatly missed. Not being able to talk to him on a daily basis was hard, not only for me but for the kiddos.

The emotions of February were anticipation, anger, sadness, joy, and gladness.

What I learned from the events in February: Remember that the next day will come, that Our Father in Heaven hears our prayers, You have more strength in you, than you think.

January 2012

January 2012 has bought so many mixed emotions. Dealing with family issues right now has put the Henry family on a never stopping roller coaster. Reality really does suck sometimes. Getting older isn't fun either. Seeing family members deal with major life changing experiences at this early stage in our life has bought intense stress and appreciation. Stress from the tasks and decisions that need to be made on top of daily mundane life. Appreciation for other members of the family who have stepped in to help and support one another. Appreciation for the knowledge that having the gospel in our lives brings so much stability and peace and understanding and most of all guidance.
