OH! Nice! There are so special…Thank you so much.. <<Your are welcome…U won’t see another pair like these, they are handmade>>…
On New Year Eve, I decided to wear these pieces of art for the occasion…I was happy that 2007 was coming to an end…What a year and a difficult one but I can’t wait it to be over and I am sure that 2008 will be a good one… So, I allowed bad lucks to happen till 11.59….Ready to go, Vroom!.. just missed the bus….Not a big deal, I’ll walk up to the Metro….Arriving to the pay booth, the subway just slipped away and I could hear its annoying sound echoing thru the station….On the platform waitiing for the next underground railway engine, I noticed (shit!) there was one earring missing…Oh no! It might have felt inside my coat, I thought..Hoping I might be right.. I got on the next tube and while sitting my hands were desperately seeking for a sense of relief …No luck!….I couldn’t wait to meet my friend, the jewellery artist, to ask if the lost earring could be replaced…
<<Sorry! I cannot duplicate the original ones but I could transform it to a charm, If u don’t mind>>.....I don’t really have a choice, do I? I whispered…May be I lost it on the sidewalk and I might find it on my way back home tomorrow….Right! On a snow storm day?! Gee, impossible! It is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But we never know, a miracle can happen and if so, then, 2008 will be my lucky year…So, there I was, going back home invoking Saint Anthony of Padua to find my earring….Got home empty-handed which is not surprising..
A few day later dressed to go out like someone who lives in North Pole..I reached my wallet in my backpack’s upper back pocket …I just couldn’t believe my eyes, Saint Anthony of Padua has found a way to slip the lost earring right there…
