Bad rice 2

Again with the bad rice.  Different brand, different vendor.  Something fishy going on with the Japanese rice.  Maybe I bought all the good stuff they had?

I will switch to a different type of rice and different market.  Which means that I need to also taste test again.

Easter Sunday here, checked on the chickens, the garden and went home.  

Got a batch of bread dough started to make some flat bread.  Now I know why flat bread is so popular in the Middle East, and Arab countries.  It is a lazy mans bread.  No oven needed.  Just need a cast iron skillet.   Barely even have to knead it.  Just make sure the yeast is mixed well with the water first before adding in so the yeast is well distributed.  

If you want something more tasty, you can use beer instead of water.  Still need the yeast.  Heineken I find is the best, with its slight sweetness and hops.  Dark beer and the more bitter or lite beers are not as good.  Guinness I suspect would be too strong unless you cut it with water.  You are aiming for that savory flavor and rich malt tone.  

I need to pull weeds in the garden but I am really not up to the task today.  Vertical garden got watering, chickens checked, bread started all before 7am.  I am pretty much out of motivation.  Maybe after a few cups of coffee, and a belly full of breakfast, will my disposition change.  

Canadian Prepper, our prophet of doom, had a montage of news clips today.  Not like his usual fare.  

The nukes are being moved around and displayed.  NWO keeps provoking them.  

At this point, short of a miracle, like the NWO WEF fuckers all getting killed at once, the odds of nukes is very high.  

My convenience store has raised prices on sugar.  Now that they had to re-stock with the higher cost stuff.  up 5 pesos a kilo. 

Someone pointed out to me that with the economy bad, why is scrap prices going up unless it means war?

Also why is it that the only stuff leaving China right now is mundane non war stuff?  Industrial stuff and stuff that can make war goods is scarce?  Bearings, tool parts etc not available.

Prepper food supplies gone

 Canadian Prepper YouTube, our favorite doom-porn sales-man, who is rather long winded, spent about 15 min to tell us that his freeze dry suppliers are basically out and production down to 10% of previous due to lack of ingredients.

This holiday weekend, now that the wife and her kids are not in the house, I have been able to more accurately track food usage (wife not insisting on over cooking) 

The results are rather distressing.  It really seems that the LDS food recommendations of one year food quantities are probably quite accurate.  

I opened a quart jar of the Japanese rice that was packed with the oxy absorber, some jars of meat, and beans.  I found that a pint jar of the home canned pork can extend to 4 servings.  As it is very rich and cooked with a lot of the fats.

Rice, one quart gets 8 Filipino servings.  But in reality it is likely only 4 servings if the main calorie source is rice.  So in my house, basically one quart=1 meal.  

Beans, I was able to stretch a pint over 4 servings as well.  The canned lima beans from the garden give me zero gas compared to other beans.  I suspect that it is due to the pressure cooking plus the vitamin C added to the beans before canning.  (1/4 teaspoon) Vitamin C as I stated before extends shelf life.  You may also know it by the trade name in the USA as "Fruit Fresh"

Rice locally is still cheap, 20 bucks for 55 pounds.  It was NOT local production though.  Import from Vietnam and China.  There is local rice, but I am sticking to the stuff I have taste tested.  Not in the inclination to go on another rice taste test mission.

I got another 50 kilos to pack away, just feelin a bit lazy this weekend.  I only got in more oxygen absorbers Wednesday for packing.  

The lettuce has started to bolt.  I tried to let some of it get bigger, but oh well.  I will try to get some seed out of a couple of the plants.  I planted a different type of lettuce that is now coming up and that is less bitter in the heat.  

The aphids have suddenly gone.  I got ladybugs in the garden now.  recognizable as such, but different colors than the USA.  No idea where the ladybugs came from.  Just showed up.

The weather here has been unusual cool at night.  Pleasant really.  Last few years it is just unbearable hot end of April, and dry.  This year not so much.  Also a lot more wind than usual.

Heard from a friend who has been trying to escape the West and get over here.  He got out of Egypt and over to Turkey.  His position is rather delicate along with his passport color so I will not go into too much detail. Suffice to say, it is a caretaking position for rich peoples toys.  He doe not have enough money to come all the way here.  He tells me that Turkey is not much better than Egypt in regards to food availability. 

I emailed a supplier in Shanghai Monday and only got a reply yesterday about orders shipping from his company.  

Make of it what you will.  But essentially I can not accept orders now for some of my big ticket machinery.

Also FB has essentially shadow banned my entire friends list from me.  Only notifications from Kenny aka Wirecutter are listed ironically and he posts the most dank of memes.  

Solar update Half of April gone.
Not good news.  Still averaging 7.45kwh daily use, March and now April.  However the daily production of solar is much less.  Over 1 kwh per day reduction.  I really need to replace that bad battery in the system.  I am having difficulty pulling much more beyond 1.5kw before the battery voltage drops down to below 48v from a supposed full charge.

Well that is what I get by sourcing used batteries.  One year into the project now.

This is It. It's Really Over.

 The false powers that be, are bound and determined to kill off a large portion of the earth.  The remaining they want to do some sort of trans human control nightmare.  

By virtue of implimenting number one they will not be able to do number 2.  

It gets repetitive to write about these things all the time.  I rather be doing something else, but I guess this blog has become about this subject for now and the daily struggles to get prepared in the face of this.

This is almost as much of a daily journal for myself as it is for others.

Heard from others in the know and they are spooked enought to hav tilled up every square inch of property they own to plant food.  

Today is Tuesday morning.  today and tomorrow remain to finish all the work tasks for the week before Holy week kicks off.

Since sales were good, and cause the boys will not earn for the remainder of the week, I will give them sacks of rice in liu of cash.  This is because two of the boys would spend it on alcohol or mischief instead of food and ask for cash advance next Monday.    55 pounds of mid grade sushi rice, to the boys and secretary getting 110 pounds cause she brought in a couple extra thousand bucks the last 6 weeks in gross sales.  

Secretary is also putting away food, the boys were informed about the need to stock up, but are not concerned.  Building tribe of reliable people is hard work, stressful and expensive.

Chicken booster feed is having shortages here.  The number one chick booster that has the pro-biotics, for the baby chicks is not available.  The week 4-6 feed is still available.  Price went from 29 to 34 per kilo on that.

I keep having doubts about what is to come.  The temptation to go all lazy is easy to fall into some days.

But then I read this via WRSA and it is back to the grindstone.  Muscles aching, head cloudy with sleep deprivation and nerves shot.

So with that, another 120 glass quart jars on the way this morning.  120 more days of life sustaining calories.  

Also it looks like my big giant tomcat is dying.  I just can not seem to grow and keep a giant male housecat.  Either they pack their bags and leave, or they get fixed and die.  The only exception is fixing my giant Japanese bobtail cat with the one eye.  Had him for 7 or 8 years, but he was fixed after he reached maturity, and already had the taste for wandering and mating. 

 My present cat is maybe 2 years old, and he never fully recovered from the coof.  He was moaning on the balcony last night.  I picked him up and he was so thin.  He was well over 12 pounds before.  I made him a bowl of full cream powdered milk and tap water but he did not drink.  He crawled away somewhere and has been gone since.  He will either recover and come back or likely go off and die somewhere.  I do have another Japanese bobtail male kitten in the house, so I guess that will be the next spoiled boy.  

I simply do not have the money to spend on a large vet bill for my sick kitty especially when the urgent need to budget for life sustainment for people is so much greater.  

Someone sold me bad rice

 Was packing away some of the last rice purchase and discovered that 50 kilos was bad.  As in chock full of mold and bugs.  

Having learned from 2020 preps, I no longer store low grade rice.  Mainly cause I WILL have to eat it vs before, I bought the cheap stuff because it was POSSIBLE to need it.  

This is the first time to have something like this happen to me.  Seller ran out of the good stuff, so she called another seller with old shit and she unloaded that on me.  Lesson learned.

I did get it exchanged. 

Monday morning harvest.  Chickens growing fast.  They are still small and not too interested in the big sunflower seeds yvery much.

That little square has made several kilos of lima beans, and several kilos of sunflower seed.  

It is increasingly looking like a certainty that you will need to your food storage and this will move beyond theoretical to reality.  

Hard times are baked into the cake, so to speak.  Economic, Nuclear, War, or they unleash yet another bio-weapon.  

I really wish it was not the scenario of some sort of panic and  is being self re-enforced culturally like some sort of mind virus like the transgender shit.

Last but not least, the mysterious fires in logistics has now hit Atlas survival shelters in Texas.  Arson.  Gee what are the odds that the guy who is most well known for building bunkers for wealthy and upper middle class, has been burned down, and is not related to the rest of the current NWO sabotage?
