Israel Vs Iran

 Well, this is not looking good.  Much as I dislike the Iranians, the Israelis are not exactly covering themselves in glory either.  Frankly I do not give a shit bout the Palestinians. 

The Palestinians were run out of Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait and several other countries over the years because of mischief.  Remember the PLO?  Suddenly Health ranger dude running about sayin that the Palestinians are paragons of virtue.  Nah... 

Anyways, nothing I can do bout it.  I am out of that fight.  

Nevertheless,. Now that Iran is sending the big stuff they always been dreaming of, air mailed to Israel, the spicy times are here.  Which means that Euro sourced goodies will become even more scarce.  

Meanwhile, in the office on a Sunday morning.  Working up a project.  lots of plates spinning in the air right now.

Yesterday someone called up asking if I wanted a football field of artificial turf.  Unsure the plastic.  If it is PP plastic then I may have gotten a BIG score.  Nylon, that too a nice score.  If it is the other plastic or a mixed plastic... Then well I can sell it to the neighbors.  I will be astro turfing the shop area for sure.

I will also be using it in place of a cement shop floor when I build a larger covered storage area in the shop.  

Rough Week

 Got hit with the flu this week.  Started out Monday morning as if I had a hangover.  It got worse, and I put it down to dehydration.  Monday night, it was fever sweats, and coughing.  

Friday morning now.  Kinda better.  I started sucking down bottles of this oral rehydration drink.  It kinda tastes like coconut water.  Has all the minerals that you lose with sweat.  I must have sweated out all my bodys salts.  

As per usual the wife, did nothing to assist.  She did go out partying with her friends all dressed up however.  She has another party to attend tonight and another party to travel to tomorrow.  Party party.
Not as if I expected anything different.

Tue and Wed was a holiday here, so the shop was closed.  Today we are going full production with plastic lumber again.  

I have to fire the two jokers I hired for shredding plastic.  They are not serious about their work and are lazy.  Thursday they only shredded 75 kilos of plastic in 8 hours.  When I am running production, we shred double that amount.  

That said, I desperately need a bigger shredder.  I may have to bend my rule on debt and get some short term financing to get a bigger shredder.  One of my collaborators, is willing to front a bigger shredder, in exchange for plastic lumber, some cash and the composting machines that have been gathering dust.  We shall see.  

I lowered my prices on the lumber.  I basically tell people if they want a good price they gotta buy a large amount.  To my surprise, it worked.  Landscaping company bought a nice bundle of lumber, prepaid all up front, and I got until next Wednesday to deliver.  Which should be no problem.  I got my big extrusion machine running, and the backup machine available if the other breaks.
