Envy

"The concept of envy — the hatred of the superior — has dropped out of our moral vocabulary. The idea that white Christian civilization is hated more for its virtues than its sins doesn’t occur to us, because it’s not a nice idea. Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible. It’s Western exploration, science, and conquest that have revealed the world to itself. Other races feel like subjects of western power long after colonialism, imperialism and slavery have disappeared. The charge of racism puzzles whites who feel not hostility, but only baffled good will, because they don’t grasp what it really means: humiliation. The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. Superiority excites envy. Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call “minorities.”

A cheap fish meal

For years, salmon belly has been available in the Philippines, typically sold frozen in half-kilo (approximately one-pound) packages for around $2 each. Despite this, I had never been particularly inclined to purchase frozen salmon—until recently.

Motivated to try something new, I found a simple yet promising recipe. The process began with marinating the salmon in a mixture of salt and sugar, followed by a thorough rinse. The fish was then placed skin-side down in a cold frying pan with a touch of oil. Given the belly's high fat content, additional fat rendered out as it cooked.

I fried the salmon until the skin was crisply browned, then flipped it for a brief 30 seconds on the other side. The result was surprisingly delightful—far better than I had anticipated. The texture and flavor were exceptional, making it a dish I'd certainly recommend.

Welder and the Labor board, plus some AI news

The welder filed his labor complaint too early, before he even received his final pay.  So there is some legal wrangling, but otherwise at the very very most, the previous company could be liable for a couple hundred dollars.  But there are other procedures to go thru before this.

Which really means I need a formal HR person.

Meanwhile today, new welder is undergoing 8 hours mandatory occupational health and safety training.  It is a online class.  Gonna cost me 13 bucks for his labor for it.

Going all formal, and away from casual informal operation that was in the past.  To include a employee handbook,

Update... Employee handbook done.  Found a downloadable templete for Philippine use.  Notice signs posted.

Below, take it for what you will.  I have been suspecting that AI has been messing with me via FB for a few years.  Too many coincidences ya know.

Case in point, I had a important email somehow deleted from my gmail inbox.  One of those life changing types of emails I got the other day and it involved a large project.  But since I had a physical copy of the business card,. I was able to keep the process going.

Another thing that was odd related to AI, the now gone social media girl was ahem, having a issue with a certain body odor.  So then today we turned on the PC that she was using, and her google account had youtube  ads for this certain mal-odor

I myself have had conversations on Whatsapp and received YouTube ads for the things discussed on phone calls.

the welder called the employment board.

The company got a summons to a online labor board hearing for the welder who quit.

He is insisting that he was fired.  Yet he was told to go home only when he started throwing steel and the welding machine around the shop.

He is claiming that he is owed all sorts of payments for things like vacation pay, incentive pay, etc.  Basically lying thru his teeth.

The best one is that he is claiming employment by a business entity for a year, yet was only incorporated a month ago.

Anyways not too worried.

However I really need to get all the HR stuff in order.  Now starting with a fresh crew, all under labor contract, all spelled out.

No more casual day labor.

Project fitness update and graphene

I have dropped 39 pounds since the end of November.  However the exercise program has beenlimited cause of the injury and then flu the last 6 weeks or so.

Weather has gotten terribly hot.  93f and 104 with the heat index.  Way too hot to go out walking now.  Even working outdoors is a challenge.

Monday morning here, trying to hit it hard.  Spent the morning doing the visualization manifestation thing.  Only to find that much of todays plans are for shit.  Because all the promised replacement helpers are missing in action.

The one sure helper was DRUNK on a Monday morning, so obviously I will not be hiring him.

Had a board meeting over the weekend for the non-profit.  Will spend part of this morning sending out board resolutions for signature, and notarizing.  I formally took my wife off the board last weekend.  Sexytary has been appointed in her place.  Sexytary is now officially COO, and company secretary.  Which means she can sign checks, contracts etc.

As Sexytary has been here for several years, and saved my ass more times than I can count, I am not too worried she will pull a stunt like the wife.  She is also very diligent when it comes to work and money management.  Double bonus points that she has never married, and no children, nor much of a dating experience.

So today, since we have no helpers, the new welder is fabricating a auger to go in the plastic extrusion machine feed hopper.  I have been experimenting with different designs of feed augers.

The two inch auger feeds into a 2 inch extrusion screw, but it does not pull the fluffy material from the sides of the funnel.  So the boys still need a stick to push the plastic sideways to catch on the auger screw.

I tried a 4 inch auger screw, but because of the taper of the hopper, the screw stops about a inch and half away from the extrusion barrel opening.  So when the plastic gets pushed down it all packs in and jams.

Today I am welding a section of 2 inch auger screw to the 4 inch screw.  It more follows the taper of the feed hopper and hopefully will allow me to jam massive amounts of shredded plastic into the machine.

The short section will be cut to fit after we put the mounting plate for this.

The auger screws are from post hole diggers, bought for about 20 bucks online.

I have been limited in production the last few weeks because I am unable to jam enough plastic into the extrusion screw that is designed to accept 3mm pellets not half inch flakes of sheet plastic and bits of shredded bubble wrap.

I also pulled the trigger on ahem... financing as in like my first formal actual loan.  In order to purchase a much larger plastic shredder.  On the very BEST of days two men are only able to shred 120 kilos of bubble wrap with a 5hp shredder in 8 hour shift.  Which is totally unacceptable when I am taking in 1000 to 1500 kilos per week.

The extrusion machine also hopefully with the upgrade will be able to crank out its capacity in plastic as well.  Week before last it only pumped out about 700 some off kilos of plastic in 6 working days.    When it is fed pellets if can crank out 40 kilos per hour or 320 kilos per shift if not more.  I have gotten it up to 50 kilos per hour at times, but it tends to not have quite enough heat for that high of a rate.

Graphene machine is awaiting a new relay.  We are using a commercial unit that can withstand about 1000 amps, however for some reason, once we triggered it, it latched, and then never worked again.  It also did not let the full power of the capacitor bank thru it before it died.  We was only running about 1/2 of the rated amperage and voltage thru it, so it likely was defective.

As it is something that is only available in the USA, we had to get a refund and get a new part shipped over.
