Atmospheric impact sun
Maybe this is why we have that fog. Increased cosmic radiation makes clouds. We had a big hit yesterday

The weird fog
Woke up this morning to a strange fog here in Manila. We do not have fog generally here except in the mountains.
Storage Bags can be used as improvused Hesco?
While researching the storage bags, I found that they are only 6 bucks each. So I guess that decides it. I can fill them, Put them on a pallet, then use the pallet jack to bring them indoors.
But then I realized that those bags are near the size of a hesco inner bag. Add in some 1 inch mesh, cut to size to make a box, and use some galvanized GI wire to hold it together. To keep it from bulging like hescos, you could use GI wire to tie the opposite sides together. Fill with a skid steer, backhoe loader etc and you good.
For long term use, you can mix in cement powder with soil, and tamp it down to make stabilized soil. Lots of instructions on YouTube.
In other news, I found a squatter repellent device on amazon. It makes a sound that makes people sick. Downside is that its tiny and runs off a 9v battery. Not for large-scale use. But there are devices that convert speaker level output to line out. So then you could connect a proper amplifier and horn tweeters, like those on guitar amps. Could be a fun project.

Weather work delays
Went in to work on the 30th. I kept watching the weather forecast, which kept saying clear weather. I need to test the plastic sheet press, and since it is so large it has to be kept outside under plastic. But if I heat it up, it will stay hot for hours, and consequently if it rains during testing, it will melt the plastic sheet.
AccuWeather kept promising clear weather a couple hours into the future, and then it rained. Not accurate at all. Now it is new years eve. Clear skies, but no workers to assist testing.
I have one welder quitting. He is not exactly the smartest guy. But I spent good money training him. He still refuses to follow safety rules so it is a mixed blessing his departure. On one hand I need the work done, on the other hand, that idiot gonna go blind because he is always welding without eye protection.
Some days he gets flash burned red eyes and then can not understand why his eyes are sore.
I was considering firing him over it, but at a risk of him going to labor board.
I paid out his 13th month mandatory bonus right before Christmas. He got drunk, broke his cell phone that he got a cash advance to buy a few months ago. He then spent his remaining bonus on a new phone.
This is fairly typical of labor here. This is also the prime reason for poverty. Millions of bad decisions.
Monday hangover sickness is a big issue that is not talked about much here.
Once the current jobs are shipped. I will be building a giant plastic shredder. Which you will see from.the next paragraph, why.
You may recall the beast chipper project from early 2023 The client ordered it, paid for it, and then the government agency changed the specs after award. Client has abandoned it in my shop. It has been well over a year, and 10+ months since her last communication. Which consisted of her not wanting to buy from me because I am vat exempt. Which means that I am not charging her the 12 percent tax.
So in relation to my new giant shredder project, I got a new barely used 26hp motor, and a nice trailer to mount a shredder and blower on. Because at this point I am considering her project abandoned and the parts available for my use.
She has also abandoned a compost drum project from early 2023. I plan on disassemble of that item, and reusing it to build some other things.
I am still contemplating a few things in my production of plastic in relation to this shredder.
Now that I have a forklift, is it going to be better to store material in bags, a silo, or those giant bulk sacks that are moved by a forklift?
