“She did not consider her destiny; Therefore her collapse was awesome; She had no comforter. “O Lord, behold my affliction, For the enemy is exalted!” Lamentation 1:9
Simple Math Made Hard
What would happen if a person went searching for the truth; lets say for example, the answer to 1 + 1, but before they started out on this quest, they removed one of the possible answers? In other words, they would consider all the infinite possibilities, except one of them; the number 2. Surely, they believe, that removing only one of a gazillion choices will have no effect upon the outcome.
That person would never discover the truth, would they.
Therein lies the difference between a wise seeker and a foolish one. The wise man leaves all the possible answers on the table, while the fool keeps on the table only the ones he likes. The wise exhibits sincerity, the fool his prejudice, therefore only the wise finds what he is looking for.
