Day 100: Scrapbook layout

I have made it to the end of the 100 Day challenge!! At the start I didn't think I would be able to keep it up, so I am well pleased :-)  I have started and finished projects, made huge progress on UFO's and used stash I had never used before!
Today I have a scrapbook page to share.  The main paper is from Stamperia and the central panel is made from two sheets from a 6" paper pad (acid free, I did check!) from The Works.  The reverse of the 6" papers handily had journalling lines, so I used the trimmings to form the journalling bases.
The arrow circle and title were cut on the Silhouette.
There is also some stamping on this page, although the paper has quite a lot of grunginess, I just had to add a few more splats and drops!

Day 51: Scrapbook layout (second attempt)

I really wasn't happy with this layout after I posted it a couple of days ago.  So I trimmed back the border (thank heaven for repo adhesive!) and die cut some bunting (Card Making Magic) for the top to replace the small loops.  I like it much better now!
See you tomorrow!

Day 49: Scrapbook layout (first attempt)

I haven't done any scrapping in a while, and I still need to finish my 2019 album!  So I pulled these photos out, found some papers and a Pinterest sketch.  It wandered away from the sketch a bit ... LOL.  I used a cobblestone die for the edges because it looks vaguely like netting and a Sizzix strip die for the loops.  The title is also die cut, not sure of the brand, possibly Dienamics, it is quite old.
See you tomorrow!

Day 22: Multi photo layout

Relatively simple layout today.  We went to a model village in Great Yarmouth last year and took so many photos, I had to find a way to put several on one page!

The main base paper is Stamperia, but there was a portion I wanted to cover, so used a scrap of some woodgrain paper on the right hand side, so old I don't know the brand.  The central panel is also Stamperia.  Then it was just a question of lining everything into a suitable grid and writing the legends underneath.  Title was cut on the Silhouette.

Day 21: Cybercrop challenge - use circles

This is my final layout for the ATDML cybercrop challenges.  My 7x5 photos finally arrived and amongst them was this one of the Technical University Library in Iasi, which Gary visited when to went to Romania.  It is an absolutely magnificent place.  In my 2019 album this page will go opposite a pocket page with more of the photos inside.

The large circle and the gears are Silhouette cut-files, the smaller circle set is die-cut, I don't know the brand.  The papers are my old favourite, 'Timepiece' from Bo Bunny - I have almost run out now, but still have scraps ..... :-)  The thing which held up completion was the title - I didn't want to just call it 'The Library', but a light bulb moment saved the day!

Day 16: Cybercrop challenge - use squares

I continued using the Bo Bunny papers from yesterday, they go so well with the Venice photos LOL.

Square photos, mats and panels.  Got it covered :-)  Title was cut on the Silhouette.  I don't often mat photos, but it really makes these ones pop!
See you tomorrow!

Day 15: Cybercrop challenge - use diamonds

And back to Venice we go .....

The photo is from our first trip to Venice, we had booked a last minute bargain break and so had done no research whatsoever - when we arrived we discovered it was Carnival!!  We took 1500 photos on the first day!  So many fabulous costumes :-)  This one fit with the diamond challenge perfectly.
The challenge had an option to use items which you have had forever (Diamonds are Forever!) and so I used an old favourite of mine, 'Timepiece' papers from Bo Bunny.
The large panel is a diamond, there are distressed diamond die-cuts (Kaisercraft) and there are of course the diamonds on the Harlequin costumes :-)
See you tomorrow!

Day 13: Cybercrop challenge - use hearts

I don't usually do cutesy stuff, like hearts ..... But I had wanted to scrap this photo for a long time and I came up with the idea of a huge outline heart in the back ground  - I knew I had a cut-file which could be resized.

I have no idea how old I am in this photo!
I kept the page quite simple, the mat and background panel were leftover from another page and I cut the large heart on the Silhouette, as well as the title. I initially cut a smaller heart of the same design in red, but in today's post came the steampunk heart die which I had ordered a while ago ..... how could I ignore the coincidence??  The die is from Robert Addams and cuts beautifully.
See you tomorrow!

Day 12: Cybercrop challenge - use tags

This weekend I and many others were meant to be attending the ATDML Spring retreat, but this was cancelled due to the Covid-19 lockdown.  So the team organised a cybercrop, with classes and challenges!
All the challenges are to do with shapes.  This first one is to use tags.

The tag paper is from Stamperia, I had previously cut the circle out of it, using the other side.  So I matted the cut sheet onto a Bo Bunny paper, added some embossed kraft card, a paper strip and some die-cut pearl borders (Tattered Lace).  The cogs are Memory Box dies.  The photo is the view from the Rialto Bridge in Venice.
Venice was going to become a bit of a theme for these challenges - the photos I had ordered online didn't turn up in time, so I dived into the box of previously printed ones - I have a LOT of Venice photos!!
See you tomorrow!

Day 5: Magnificent Men and their Flying Machines

A scrapbook page for Day 5.  I have gone a bit pennant-tastic on this!

The papers are all from stash, a mix of Hot off the Press, Kaisercraft and Basic Grey.  I used an SU punch to make the 'tails' of the pennants and also the chevrons.  Cogs and gears are done with  Memory Box dies.  I have printed both title and journalling, something I haven't done for a long while, but there were far too many letters in the title to stick down individually!  And once the title was on the page, I realised that the journalling would look better printed as well.
See you tomorrow!

Day 2: scrapbook layout

Today I am sharing a page which I was stuck on for along time, but which then suddenly came together in a serendipity moment!

All papers are from stash, mix of Basic Grey and Kaisercraft (I think).  Both the circles are die-cut, the outer from Tonic, the inner clock from Robert Addams.  The cogs are dies from Cheery Lyn.  I cut the banner ends, the circles under the cogs and the journalling tag with Stampin' Up punches.  The title was cut on the Silhouette, font: boyz are gross
