Day 231

I am grateful I could go to the park today with the kids.
I am grateful that we were able to pull out pools to swim.
I am grateful we found Xavier's sippy cup that he lost.

Day 230

I am grateful that the pumpkin plants are growing a lot. Just in one day there was a huge difference.
I am grateful we found a cool swimming pool for Brooklyn's birthday.
I am grateful for the blessings in my life.

Day 229

I am grateful that I got a workout done today.
I am grateful my pumpkin plants are growing. and also my herbs are getting bigger.
I am grateful that we have neighbors our kids that our kids love to play with.

Day 228

I am grateful we could spend part of the weekend at Mike's parents house. There internet is weird so I didn't write in my blog last night. But we had a lot of fun and the kids were good. We went to the park today and Xavier was going to and going down big alides by himself.
I am grateful we had a good drive home, Xavier slept for the first part then woke and is still wide awake and crazy now.
I am grateful that it is nice and warm.

Day 227

I am grateful Mike was home today.
I am grateful Brooklyn got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and didn't have an accident today.
I am grateful I could go to a baby shower today.

Day 226

I am grateful it is Friday.
I am grateful my kids were good today.
I am grateful for neighbors.

Day 225

I am grateful that Abigail graduated from preschool today. She was cute when were taking pictures we asked her to smile and she mad a weird face instead.
I am grateful that I finally met my neighbors new baby and was able to hold the baby. It made me more baby hungry.
I am grateful our dinner turned out. I tried a new recipe it was a roasted pepper and chicken salad, so good.

Day 224

I am grateful that I got a good workout in today.
I am grateful I could go to scouts today.
I am grateful for my kids, it was a hard day with one disobeying me and then lying to me, just need to remind myself I still love her.

Day 223

I am grateful Mike gets off at 2, by then I was done with the day.
I am grateful Mike made dinner.
I am grateful Xavier took a long nap.
I am grateful Brooklyn is doing somewhat better with potty training.
I am grateful for bedtime.

Day 222

I am grateful that plants in our garden are growing.
I am grateful Mike cooked dinner.
I am grateful we had a good family home evening.
I am grateful my kids could swim today.
I am grateful Brooklyn didn't crack her head open when she fell into the gutter, but only got a goose egg and a sore.
I am grateful that we had brownies tonight.
I am grateful that Mike got paid today and we are caught up on our bills.

Day 221

I am grateful that it was a good Sunday.
I am grateful my dinner worked out.
I am grateful my neighbors and I all tried to watch the eclipse, to bad it was cloudy and we couldn't see it. But we still had fun.

Day 220

I am grateful that it was a busy day.
I am grateful that I was able to go to a bbq tonight.
I am grateful I got my laundry all done and folded today.

Day 219

I am grateful that we got rain today.
I am grateful that the kids were mainly good today.
I am grateful Brooklyn is still doing good with potty training.
I am grateful for my heat pad.

Day 218

I am grateful Brooklyn had a better day with potty training only 1 accident.
I am grateful I could get out of the house tonight.
I am grateful tomorrow is Friday.

Day 217

I am grateful I got my herbs and pumpkins planted today. Now lets hope I have a green thumb and things will grow.
I am grateful that Mike stayed with the kids as I went to do things.
I am grateful all my kids ate dinner tonight all of them even Abigail the picky eater.

I hate potty training

Brooklyn is having a hard time with potty training. She has already had 9 accidents today. I am taking her every 15 minutes and she is not going for me but going in her pants. I think she has gone twice on the toilet. I am getting so frustrated. I want to go out to play, but we just went out for about 15 minutes and she had 2 accidents.
I just told her for every accident she has for the rest of the day someone else gets her potty treat and not her. But if she goes in the potty she gets the treat. And the treat is not a M&M but a Hershey kiss. Well time to take her again. Someday I will be able to go outside again with my kids. If I don't go insane before then.

p.s. threatening to give her treats away helped. She came to me and said go potty and she went. Lets hope this is the beginning of something good.

Day 216

I am grateful Brooklyn is getting better at going potty. Still had accidents but she did better.
I am grateful Mike cooked dinner.
I am grateful Abigail was willing to ride her two wheeler and Brooklyn wanted on her bike.

Day 215

I am grateful Brooklyn started potty training again today. She did alright she went more than she had accidents. For every time she goes she gets a hershey kiss.
I am grateful that my neighbor and I made more strawberry jam today, and that we almost got our pumpkin area all clean.
I am grateful I didn't get a fat lip when Xavier head butted me during family prayer tonight.

Day 214

I am grateful Mike he made me breakfast and dinner today, and strawberry shortcake.
I am grateful my sharing time went well today. The stake primary president was there and a general primary board member was there. They both said I did good.
I am grateful we got a new bishop loved the last one he was awesome and the new one will be awesome too.

Day 213

I am grateful for my neighbors and that we like to hang out together.
I am grateful for Mike he went to the store and cooked dinner.
I am grateful that it was windy this evening so we could fly our kite.

Day 212

I am grateful I could hang out with my brother and his kids today.
I am grateful it is Friday.
I am grateful that the kids were good today.

Day 211

I am grateful my kids let me clean this morning.
I am grateful Mike took the kids out this afternoon.
I am grateful I could go to the movies with a friend tonight.

Day 210

I am grateful we got the rest of our garden planted today.
I am grateful the kids were good.
I am grateful the day went fast.

Day 209

I am grateful I got to go to the park to hang out with my family. I set up with my brother to do something on Saturday. His two youngest and my two oldest love to hang out and all the other kids love to play with Xavier.
I am grateful I didn't have to cook dinner tonight.
I am grateful we gave the kids a bath tonight they really needed it.

Our first family Vacation

I know we are pathetic to finally have our first family vacation. It is hard to have a vacation if you have no money. Luckily I won tickets to Disneyland so we could afford it. 

We left Sunday and went and stayed at Mike's parents house, it was nice for a couple of reasons. The day before we cleaned our house really well, so it would be clean when we got back, we didn't have to travel as far the next day, we got a free meal out of it and most importantly we got to spend some time with Mike's parents. The kids were good and went to bed there, so all in all it was a good choice.

Monday we got up gave the kids breakfast and waited until we thought we should go. We were going to leave at 10 but I made the kids clean at 9:30 and they got done fast so we just left. We were leaving Delta and going the Milford way to Cedar City. On this trip I decided that Milford would be the best place to live for 3 reasons. 1. there are only two gas stations in the town. 2. You can get away with having your couch on the porch.( the best place for one.) 3. You can wear overalls everyday and still feel good about it. Even if you don't look good in them. We made it to Cedar City got gas and then found a park to eat at. We made the kids lunches and of course they didn't eat well. They just wanted to play, but I don't blame them it was an awesome playground. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera so you will just have to believe me. After lunch we drove the rest of the way to Vegas. Mike and I have decided that we really don't like Vegas there is such a negative feeling there. I know some people love it, but I just don't. We went to our hotel and got all of our stuff to our room. We then went swimming all 3 of our kids screamed when they first got into the water. But Mike and I calmed them down and 2 of 3 were soon enjoying it. It took awhile to get the 3 one to like it she sat on the stairs for awhile. Brooklyn on the other hand was loving it. She was jumping off the side of the pool to Mike and even sometimes going underwater. I called her my little fish. Xavier just sat in his floaty acting cool. We finally went in when Xavier was shivering in the water. We gave the kids a bath and waited for my parents to call. They finally called and we went to a buffet for dinner. I am not that big into buffets, but it was OK. We then went to our hotel and let the kids run around and play for a bit before bedtime. 

Tuesday we woke up early, because the beds were as hard as a rock. I told Mike it was like sleeping on the floor. Which he agreed with. So we fed the kids and packed up the car and was on our way by 7 in the morning. We started the drive thinking all was great which all was until we stopped at the rest stop. I let Abigail go in her own stall because she can and she locked herself in. She couldn't get it unlocked at all or didn't try, we will never know. So I had to crawl under the stall to unlock it. I was wearing shorts and everything probably one of the grossest things that I have ever done. I had to rewash my hands, but I still felt gross. We left from there and drove to Barstow and gas and gave the kids more snacks. We got to our hotel somewhere around noon. I went in to preregister us and they said they had a room ready for us. So I went and got the kids as Mike went and parked our car. Our hotel room had a view of the parking lot the best view ever, but can't complain with free hotel room. After that we walked to Disneyland the first thing we did was buy lunch we were starving by this point. After that Abigail wanted to ride the train that goes around the park. I decided to walk and we were going to meet where the Princesses were. When I got there I noticed there was a long line and it was going to be a 2 hour wait. We quickly decided that was not what we wanted to do so we took them to the carousal. Mike took them on the ride and Brooklyn screamed because she wanted someone to ride with her. Mike got one. If I would of thought of it I would of got a picture. When they were done with that ride I took the girls on Dumbo. Brooklyn laughed the whole time.

 Trying to play in the bushes. After Dumbo Brooklyn had a dirty diaper so Mike went and changed her while I took the other two on the story book ride. Abigail loved it and Xavier was indifferent. He was just happy to be out of the stroller. Abigail then asked to go on the teacups I decided even before I went that I would not take the girls on the ride I get so dizzy so easily that I knew that I would be sick the whole day. Mike being the nice guy that he is took them.

 While they were on this ride my parents finally showed up. We went on a few more rides that day like small world and the Alice in wonderland ride. By then Xavier was done. He fell asleep on small world and anytime we tried to put him in the stroller he would scream. So Mike finally just took him back to the hotel. I went with the girls and my parents to toon town. We took the girls on the roller coaster there and Abigail hated it. She said that she would not go on another roller coaster at all. After the roller coaster we went and met Mickey mouse which my mom has pictures of I will get them and post them later. After that the girls were done and wanted to go back to the hotel. When we got back to the hotel it was time to think of dinner. We decided that we were both so tired that we called for room service. $60  later we had our meal and it wasn't that good. So I took all the extra ketchup that they gave us. After dinner we got the kids to bed and we laid in bed watching t.v. soon Mike was asleep too. I stayed up a bit later. Xavier didn't sleep well at all that night. He would keep waking up and screaming. Needless to say this was the 2nd night I didn't get good sleep. At least the girls slept.

Wednesday we woke up early again,  we all got ready and went to get breakfast. We took the kids to McDonald's and got them Pancakes. After breakfast we went to Disneyland we got there even before the gates opened so we got to see them open. The first thing we did was go meet the princesses. We only had to wait for about a half hour. The girls loved meeting the princesses. 

 After that my parents had finally made it and we went to tomorrow land one of the rides we wanted to go on was closed so Mike and my parents and Abigail went on Star tours. Abigail hated it.

 After star tours my parents took the kids to the Monorail while Mike and I went on Space mountain. On our way out we saw the storm trooper Mike asked for a picture the guy did it but was very rude. After he got a picture with Mike he pushed him and  a little girl asked if she could have a picture with him and he said No and pushed her away. I was not impressed at all. We then went to find my parents they were sitting next to a car ride feeding the kids popcorn well all the kids but Abigail. They got Carmel corn which Abigail calls dirty popcorn and will not eat it. Xavier on the other hand kept yelling more more. They went on the car ride. Mike took the kids while I watched Xavier poor guy was to short for the ride. I let him walk around and he went to where he could see the cars and was yelling cars cars. Mike had the camera so I didn't get a picture of them in the cars. After they were done with the ride we went to the merry go round again and this time let Xavier on it. He loved it.

 Brooklyn and me. After the merry go round we went and had lunch. Our kids finished so fast that we had to wait for about a half hour for my parents. My parents wanted to go on the steam boat so they took our kids while Mike and I went on Splash mountain there was no wait at all for that ride. It was fun and I got a little wet not bad. After that ride Xavier needed to nap and the kids wanted to go back to the hotel so Mike stayed with them while I got to go around with my parents. A couple of hours later Mike called and said that Xavier was still asleep but the girls were wanting to go out again. So I went back to the hotel to get them and they were all ready to go. We went to California Adventure. The first ride we did was the splash ride I went with Mike and we were with some teenagers who were kind of annoying. I then went on with my mom and we got on with this little family they were really fun. We went on a bunch of other rides that day and waited for my uncle to call we were going to go do dinner with him. He finally called so we went to dinner with him. My mom called and told me the address but she told it to me wrong. So we were lost. My uncle finally got on the phone and was able to tell us how to get there. The dinner was really good and Abigail fell in love with my uncle the whole way back to the hotel she was talking about him and how she loved him.

Thursday, we had tickets still for Thursday, but we decided just to head home. So we packed everything and was on our way home. The ride home was very long we stopped in Delta for the night and as soon as we got there our kids were so hyper and happy we let them stay up until 9:30. The nest morning we ate and then we headed home. When we got home we unpacked the car cleaned it out and washed our laundry we were so tired we were just lazy that day. Overall it was a good vacation and went a lot better than I thought that it would. I hope to go on a vacation again sometime soon.

I am grateful it was a good day today.
I am grateful I could work out for an hour today.
I am grateful my kids and Mike like my dinner, even though I thought the chicken was gross.

Day 207

I am grateful that we had a good day at church. The bishop wanted everyone to go to R.S. It was really good.
I am grateful Mike cooked dinner today, it was good even though the kids really didn't like it. Abigail almost threw up because she thought it was going to be bad.
I am grateful that it was a relaxing afternoon.

Day 206

I am grateful I could go to my grandma's birthday party today.
I am grateful that my brother gave Mike and I tickets to the movies tonight. We went and Saw Avengers. Good movie.
I am grateful my mom watched the kids so we could go to the movies.

Day 205

Sorry didn't post yesterday, internet was not working well plus I was so tired I wasn't thinking straight.
I am grateful we got home from our vacation today. We drove for 10 hours yesterday to Delta and drove the rest today.
I am grateful that we are already cleaned up after our vacation. We did it first thing when we got home so that it would be done.
I am grateful that Mike went to the store today.
I am grateful the kids went to bed good, we have another busy day tomorrow so they need their rest.

Day 204

I am grateful for all the time we spent at Disneyland today.
I am grateful Mike took the kids back to the hotel for naptime and I could stay at the park.
I am grateful I could see my uncle today.

Day 203

I am grateful our vacation has been going well so far.
I am grateful our hotel at Disneyland is better than the one in Vegas.
I am grateful it is bed time.
