Yesterday I had pictures of Christmas but didn't give an update of us.
Xavier is about 2 weeks from being 2. He is a very active boy and loves Mickey Mouse. He gets mad if I try to put on any diaper but the huggies that have Mickey on them. He loves cars and balls. He loves watching sports with his dad. He is talking a lot more, to the point that more people are noticing and tell me about it. He has decided he is getting to old for naps and I can only get him to nap once every couple of days. Which means by 7 he is very cranky.
Brooklyn is finally starting to talk more, though sometimes I still don't understand her. We are trying to teach her what she needs to know. She is the eater of the family she will eat most anything, except not pizza anymore. She got sick once after eating it. She likes to stand on her head on our couch, and tumble around the room. She is excited to start Sunbeams the beginning of the year. Though I know she will miss her nursery leaders. But she is so loving to everyone it will not take her long to like her new teachers. She loves to hug everyone, so if you ever need one she will do it.
Abigail is enjoying kindergarten and is getting pretty good at reading and writing. She is a really big sister and tries to help out, sometimes to much when she thinks she gets to put her brother and sister in time out. She loves to color and play computer games. She will watch cooking videos on youtube and say that it is her cooking show. She is still a picky eater, but we are working on it. She helps me clean around the house, she is usually the one that empties the dish washer or sometimes vacuums.
I am just keeping busy, being a mom. I have lost 10 pounds since this summer. I think it helped getting sick a couple of times. I have a bunch of projects I need to work on/finish.
Mike just finished school this month and is now working full time. He goes to work at 6 every morning and gets off at 4. He has every other Friday off, which can be nice. We are thinking of buying a 2nd car and living here another year, because we have a good rate on rent.

December happenings.
December has gone so fast. I can't believe it is almost the new year. We had a good, busy and fun month.
Here is how we hung our stockings this year. We don't have a fire place where we live and in the past have hung them down our stairway. But I wanted something new this year and so I got some garland and this is what we ended up with. I really likes it. Did not look as good with the stockings down.
I saw the idea to hang ornaments on Pinterest. I thought the idea was cute. It was kind of annoying to do and took awhile. Plus they kept falling down. But overall I liked it. I will do it again next year.
Abigail fell of her scooter one day and hurt her lip. She was so mad at me because when she was bleeding all over I would not let her into the house until Mike brought me a wet towel. She healed quickly though. We hope she will not quit riding her scooter like she did her bike after she fell off of it.
For family home evening one night we went and saw Santa. It was really cold but the kids really enjoyed it.
Girls with Santa
Xavier trying to escape from Santa I guess we should be grateful he was not doing his famous scream.
Xavier put on his own hat when he discovered he got to go somewhere with me. At least he is starting to like the hat now.
Girls helping me make rice crispy treats for family home evening. (the disaster house night)
Our disaster house it didn't work we will do gingerbread from now on.
At least it was pretty.
Frosting cookies
Xavier only ate the cookies. I am thinking and not mad.
Xavier thought that coloring on paper was below him and decided that he should right on his head. I guess it will save us on paper
One night our boy decided he was to good for bed and wanted to watch football with his dad. This is a daily Sunday between these two. We have thought Xavier to say touch down and lift his arms making the signal.
It snowed on Christmas eve so we took our kids out to play. Abigail decided the grass needed shoveled.
Brooklyn just liked to walk around.
Xavier walking away from Mike.
Loving being outside. He is our outdoor boy.
Christmas Pajamas. They all enjoyed Christmas a lot. Xavier by the end was trying to open other peoples presents.

What a week
So this week started out good. Monday we went and saw Santa, even Xavier sat on his lap and didn't cry. Tuesday I baby sat and the kid was not half bad. My kids were even good. That night when we were going to bed I heard Abigail cough. I wondered if she threw up, but didn't check. I thought if she was sick she would come out and tell us. Boy was I wrong, she is afraid of the dark so she just laid in it all night. So gross! The next morning as Mike was getting ready for work, Brooklyn got up for a drink. As he was putting her to bed Abigail said she was sick. So he got her out of bed and started to clean it up. I had to help her undress, so grateful I am not pregnant at this time. Mike decided to stay home this day he had homework and wanted to help me out with her. That day went pretty quickly with Mike home I went and ran errands.
Thursday Abigail was still sick she would not eat for me and just slept all day. That night I went to girls night and was really tired. I thought that she would be better by Friday for sure. But Friday I woke up and she still had diarheaa, third day in a roll that we had to wash her bedding. She was still not eating for us, but we kept trying. This morning we woke up and Xavier had the diarheaa and threw up once. As the day went on we each started to get sick. Luckily Xavier was the only one that threw up. We are staying home from Church tomorrow. Mike will go for choir, but other than that we will be lazy bums.
Not all bad news this week though. On Tuesday Mike and I were at home kids in bed and we were talking about bills. We figured out we didn't have money for one bill. But thought qe would be fine, when the phone rang it was the bishop. He said our name came to his mind and wanted to know if we needed anything. We have Christmas done, with the exception of the stockings. So Mike was like not for Christmas, but we have a bill. So luckily they will pay a bill for us.
Then tonight Mike and I were talking about the stockings. With Abigail sick I missed out on baby sitting this week. I also found out that I will only have this boy one time next week. So I was like oh well it doesn't matter. When we got a knock on our door. I went and answered it no one was there but there was a book and a jar of coins on the porch. We opened the jar and they had put forty dollars in the jar plus the coins. I love little miracles like this.
here is to hoping no one is sick tomorrow.
