Ocean in Jan

Ocean and Laker after having a fun evening of playing
Grandma Amy always brings the best toys to play with.
Ocean wanted to play the game that Daddy was playing with Nali. She didn't fit as well as Denali fit in the cart.
Ocean went to see the dentist for the first time. Or as she would say "went to see Dentist papa" She got to be in the no cavity club. She didn't like having papa look at her teeth, but after asking her what was wrong she said that the light was scary. So we had to be creative checking her teeth.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Ocean. She was helping Daddy make a snowman in the backyard.
When Ocean doesn't want Nali to play with her dollhouse she puts all the furniture and the dolls on the very top shelf that Nali can't get. She told me she does that so Nali doesn't choke.
Daddy and his girls.
Ocean helping Grandma take her christmas tree down.
Looking good kiddo.
Ocean got this makeup for Christmas and she put it on every day until it was gone. She told me the other day that she needs more, but I think we might have to wait for her birthday before we get more.

Nali is one!!

I can't believe that the Bugs in one!! My time has flown this past year.
We love our Nali Bugs. She is such a joy in our lives. We love being able to watch her grow and figure things out. She crawls on top of and over everything. She likes to stand up, and she gets mad when people try and make her walk.
Nali loves to talk to Ocean and her best friend Piglet. I hear her and Ocean sit in Ocean's room and they talk back and forth and laugh together. Ocean will also tell me "mom Nali says this or Nali says that" It is adorable. Nali can say Dadda, Momma, Bottle, Eat, and no. She is also working on saying Piglet because that is her all time favorite thing right now.
Nali loves being able to do the same things Ocean does. Grandma Amy brought another dollhouse for the girls. They sit and play together and share their toys (most of the time). She likes to be outside and likes to visit grandma and grandpa. She plays peek a boo with anyone sitting behind us in church.
Nali eats anything and everything that she can. Even with that she only weighed 13lbs at her one year apt. Her favorite foods are fruits and veggies.
The things I love best about Nali is that she loves her family so much. When Curtis comes home from work she screams with delight and wants hugs and kisses. Nali follows Ocean around and wants to play whatever she is playing. She also loves being with cousins and family.
Nali is my special girl. Some days are harder than others, because she demands so much attention and wants me to hold her all of the time. Anyone that is a parent knows how draining this can become, but I love her so much. She makes me happy, she teaches me something new about myself and about our family constantly. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. I can't wait for the next year and the new fun things it will bring for her and our family.

Jan happenings

Ocean got to go to the BYU basketball game with Daddy. She wore her cute outfit and ate lots of Oreos.
My dad is teaching me the art of pushing snow with the four wheeler. Its tons of fun. I like shoveling snow anyway, but this takes it to a whole new level.
Auntie Jenny and Grandma Amy came from Cali to stay with us for a week. We had a blast!!! We played a ton and Amy helped me sheetrock, mud, sand, and paint the castle underneathe the stairs. Pictures to soon follow.
This is one of Nali's favorite game with Daddy. She sits the the cart and they go around and around while Ocean chases them. It is so much fun having our two girls in our life.
This is my good friend Farah. She is going to school up at BYU Idaho and this past month we found out that her mom had been killed in Haiti during the earthquake. She has an eleven year old brother who is still in Haiti. Farah has been an amazing pillar of strength. I don't know how else to describe her. She is amazing and I love her so much.

Sundance

This is totally corny, but bear with me. There is something magical about Sundance. I am happy up there, Curtis and I met up there. It is one of my happy places. Every year I hope that I will be able to work there again, and by the Grace of my boss, he lets us come back and bother him for one more year. I have friends that I made up there that are long lasting friendships. I can go a whole summer without seeing them, and than it starts to snow, and there they are again. We pick up right where we left off. It's perfect
Kade frickin' Call. I love you buddy
Lindsay Hale and I have been friends since junior high. We had homeroom together and she came up and asked me if I wanted to be her best friend. Who could say no to an offer like that. We played lacrosse together, did a ton of dumb stuff together, and she was also the one that told me to apply and get a job at Sundance.
This is me, Brooke, and Wendy. The stories I could tell you about Wendy. Love her. She is basically the reason that Curtis and I hooked up.
Greg Newton. Our fearless leader. The man, the myth, the legend. Not the best pic, but I love it because he is in mid laugh. Greg has always been like my big brother. He is the best. I think my main goal working is to get him out on his snowboard. This year I have been pretty successful.
Best thing about Sundance is being able to ride with this hottie. Love you Bubby.

Christmas 2009

We were able to celebrate Christmas up at the cabin with the enire Tobler Gang and it was a blast. I love spending Christmas with family.
Auntie Ema knitted all of the kids hats. I love that she has such a sweet talent. We look forward to seeing what the hats look like every year. Bravo Aunti Em, Bravo
Ocean got a dollhouse from Santa for Christmas. Her and Nali have loved having a dollhouse. My mom has a Santa doll that sits in her tree and when we got back from the cabin she went up to Santa and said "thank you for my dollhouse Santa, I love it." So dang cute.
You are going to have to use your imagination for this one, but this is the Nativity scene. I know it's a stretch. Ema's dog Enzo was the baby Jesus.
What a great time we had with family both the Tobler and the Marshall side. We were able to spend the evening with Scottie and the girls loved it!
